–Horribly. Kanato can’t quite get used to the idea that affection is something that doesn’t have to be earned or forced, and constantly tries to either please you enough to (in his mind) warrant it or throw the kind of fit that you’ll have to pity. He clings to you almost constantly, desperate for any scrap of attention or love you’re willing to give him. He doesn’t understand that you can love him for no reason, or that you won’t stop paying attention to him the moment he stops entertaining you.
