Could I ask for a scenario of pet au where Reiji’s owner notices his vision is poor and buys him glasses that match his prescription well (basically he can see clearly for the first time ever)?

Admin Mawile: (ﾉ･д･)ﾉ Poor Reiji. .. I can imagine how hard it would be for a pet with poor vision. 

-Sometime between purchasing your new pet and noticing how Reiji’s eyes never quite tracked movement right, it had hit you. 

You knew pets didn’t have the best medical care, but surely someone would have noticed by now if his vision was bad, right? You couldn’t be the first to realize that his clumsiness with new things was because of sight. 

You’d tested the theory last week, and found out you were right. 

Now, kneeling in front of him with a small box, you hoped you’d judged his vision correctly. 

The glasses slipped on easily, and Reiji hardly flinched from your hands near his face, but it was the look of utter wonder that spread over him then that really made your chest clench. 

Of course, he didn’t let the joy slip; merely a brief, quiet, “Thank you, owner,” to make sure you couldn’t hurt him for being ungrateful. 

You still saw the small smile when he turned his head back down.
