since without it they are weaker, how would pet!au boys feel about kind owner giving them blood pretty frequently, owner trying to keep them as happy and healthy as they could?

Shuu:

-He’s absolutely shocked by how much energy he has now that he’s eating regularly, and can’t bring himself to deny the blood. There’s probably some horrible catch coming later, but for once, he doesn’t feel like he’s dying of exhaustion just from basic movement.

Reiji:

-He’s extremely hesitant to take more food than he deserves, and there’s a persistent feeling that he’s becoming a burden to you by needing a special diet. Blood makes him feel almost sick by now, too afraid of making a nuisance out of himself to relax and eat.

Ayato:

-He doesn’t want to bother you by demanding more food than you’re willing to give, but the temptation of actual blood is difficult to resist. He’ll give in eventually, too desperate to feel better to prioritize not bothering you for long. It’s a hard choice, and it never gets less nerve-wracking.

Kanato:

-While he definitely doesn’t want to demand any more than a pet should, he can’t quite force himself to refuse something you’re telling him to do. He takes the blood with hesitancy, and tries not to visibly show how much better his whole being feels after he’s actually well fed.

Laito:

-He has no doubts that there’s a trick hiding somewhere, and only accepts the blood out of fear of what will happen if he says no to you. Real meals feel amazing, but it’s impossible to trust that you won’t demand something in return. He pretends to be perfectly happy, but inside is worried sick.

Subaru:

-He’s absolutely terrified of being a burden on you, and is almost too afraid to accept the blood. Despite knowing that he’d feel better if he ate, it feels wrong to have access to as much fresh blood as he actually needs. He shouldn’t bother you, even if it would be good for him.

Ruki:

-He has never had a chance to have as much blood as he needs, and the temptation to accept is powerful. There has to be some kind of trap, but he can’t hold out for long against the temptation of being full. He knows he’d be so much more functional if he was well fed.

Kou:

-He’s much too afraid to accept the food, and almost panics at the very offer. You have to be trying to hurt him somehow, and he’s not going to be stupid enough to give in to his hunger and take the food. By now, he knows that offers like that aren’t real, and he won’t be falling for it again.

Yuuma:

-He doesn’t trust the offer of free food for a second, but he’s much too hungry to say no. It’s probably some kind of horrible trick, and yet the lure of food is far too much for him to resist for long. It’s instantly visible how much better he feels with even one good meal in him.

Azusa:

-If you want to give him blood, then it’s far from his place to disagree. Even if it’s obvious that you’re trying to trick him, he forces himself to trust you and accept what you give him. If it does turn out to have some cruel cost, he’s more than ready to take it to make you happy.

Carla:

-Whether you’re going to hurt him for it or not, he needs all the food he can get. It’s always been difficult for him to keep weight on, and if you’re offering real food for his kind, he can’t afford to let that chance go. He needs the nutrition while you’re still willing to give it.

Shin:

-He doesn’t believe for a second that the food could possibly come without a cost, and is convinced that you’ll have a punishment ready as soon as he finishes it. He’ll take it anyway, though, if only to gather some strength for whatever you’re plotting with this obvious lie.
