It didn’t occur to him that she was the “relative” that he was supposed to be living with from now on until she explained it to them all, and then, when her eyes started to glow from the darkness, he realized that he was completely doomed. She had been so pretty, the first time he saw her, that the fact that she was deadly, supernatural being hardly wanted to register. She’s seemed so kind that he could hardly believe that they all were really nothing but prey to her.
