Shuu:
-He’s not at all the type of pet that gets rewarded very often. He’s lazy and slow, and rarely does anything fast or well enough for a human to be impressed. It’s a total shock that you think he did something worthy of rewarding, and he hardly knows what to do with the situation.
Reiji:
-Despite doing everything possible to please his owners, he’s horribly unused to praise and affection. Being rewarded for doing something right is one of the best things that can happen to him, and he’s nothing short of delighted that you’re pleased with him for what he did.
Ayato:
-He’s always been absolutely desperate for praise, and being rewarded for something is the height of happiness for him. Not only does it mean he won’t be punished for anything, seeing his owner happy with him is as good as proof that he won’t be gotten rid of anytime soon.
Kanato:
-He’d do nearly anything to be praised and rewarded, and getting that attention without having to suffer is like a dream come true. He doesn’t really know what to do with positive attention, though, and he winds up on the verge of tears from sheer happiness that he’s managed to please you.
Laito:
-He doesn’t particularly trust the reward, and can’t help but feel like there’s some kind of trick lurking under the surface. He has a hard time believing that you’re serious about rewarding him, especially when he’s been tricked this way before, by owners much less kind than you.
Subaru:
-He’s not used to being praised for anything, much less rewarded, and practically crumples as soon as it occurs to him that you’re serious. It’s hard to believe that he’s done anything good enough to be rewarded for, that he’s somehow managed to earn your favor.
Ruki:
-It’s strange to think that a human is fond enough of him to bother with rewarding him for anything, Before you, he wouldn’t have expected anything better from a human than the suffering he experienced at the shelter, but you’ve always had a way of proving that wrong.
Kou:
-He doesn’t know how to handle being treated well by human at all, and doesn’t trust the reward you’re offering for a second. There’s no way he’s done anything good enough to actually be rewarded for, and he know very well that even this kind offer has to be some kind of trick.
Yuuma:
-The very idea of being rewarded by an owner is kind of strange. He wouldn’t have expected that he’d actually manage to be good enough to please you, and the fact that you’re going out of your way to be kind to him is almost unbelievable, considering his history with humans.
Azusa:
-He’s absolutely delighted that he’s done something good enough to warrant a reward, and doesn’t think for a second that the kindness might be a trick. In his mind, whatever you say goes and he’d never dream of questioning something as kind as the praise you’re offering.
Carla:
-He never would have expected to manage the kind of behavior that gets rewarded, not as sick as he is, but having his obedience pay off is a shockingly pleasant feeling. It’s rather strange that you’re kind enough to reward a mere pet for some obviously insignificant behavior, though.
Shin:
-It’s a very strange thought indeed that a human is trying to be nice to him, and it really doesn’t seem feasible that hes done anything worth rewarding. It’s strange that you want to be so nice to him; its not like any owner has to be so good to their property, and you do it anyway.
