Route Ideas #3: Kou is another tricky one, let’s see… he starts with his initial cutesy act, but the Reader senses something going on below the surface, and doesn’t quite respond or accept any favours in a manner which adequately allows him to use the “I did this for you, so now you have to do this’ card. This frustrates him to no end, but he sees it as a challenge, and keeps trying to get closer to the Reader, ultimately beginning to feel the first stirrings of genuine feelings. (1/3)

(2/3) Then, when Kou challenges the Reader (by boxing her in somewhere or just generally getting up in her personal space), and the Reader challenges him right back (by getting up in his face, or pushing him back with a certain look in her eye) these feelings are sent into overdrive as he’s suddenly flustered for reasons he can’t explain, and leaves almost immediately.

(3/3) He then goes out of his way to avoid her while he’s thinking over these new feelings, until either the Reader seeks him out or he cracks and goes to her instead. What happens then is up to you!

Admin Mawile: (。>ω<)。Oooh, I like a lot of this!! Kou is definitely going to start out playing cute, and I imagine that when reader catches on that he’s faking, she takes absolutely none of it. I like that you mentioned his “give and take” ideal, as that’s something that I’m going to have to work with. I think that the main challenge of Kou’s route is going to be navigating the depths of his trauma, and figuring out a way for reader to actually get through to him…
