Oooh, a new route so soon? Sounds fun! What the general gist of Reiji’s route?

Admin Mawile: 」( ̄▽ ̄」) Yep! For one, my brain does not like doing One Thing for too long, so I figured that splitting up the routes would help my focus a little! Also, this way seemed like the best for writing what y’all wanted to see of the fic~ As for Reiji’s route, I have a rough outline already plotted, and this is the summary of it! Fair warning, it’s like 2 AM and my brain is a mess.

Reader, as in Laito’s route, does not have fear, but does have a tendency to take no shit. This goes over terribly with Reiji, as he wants absolute control all the time. The first couple chapters are a back and forth of Reiji trying to intimidate/break Reader, and reader getting increasingly fed up with his attempts to force her compliance.

Unfortunately, the more she stands up to him, the more desperate he gets to put her in her place.

This, however, changes when Reader finally snaps and makes it very clear that she’s never going to be afraid of him. No human has ever stood up to him like that before, and while Reiji thinks that he should be offended and furious, he’s actually somewhere between shocked and into it.

The breaking point in the situation is, as was suggested to me by a lovely anon, a potion accident. However, my idea of what happens is that Reiji is left somehow helpless. Reader, despite her former annoyances, actually tries to help. The combination of weakness and kindness gets to Reiji, and he spends a while after the incident trying to deny that he sort of liked it. This ends in him getting more violent with Reader in an attempt to force down whatever ridiculous impulse made him think he enjoyed being at her mercy.

Reader manages to make a pretty good guess at what’s going on, stands up to Reiji again, now knowing what will happen… and winds up forcing the worst of his emotional issues to the surface.

From there, it’s a matter of Reader picking up the Reiji-pieces and sorting through the absolute disaster that is this boy’s mental state. Reiji, meanwhile, is struggling with the idea that he actually likes what Reader does to him. More issues are waded through, and some positive change is made in the end.
