More Licca updates!! This’ll be some before and current pictures of them, compared with what color hair they’re going to be rooted in! o3o Again, if anyone wants one of them when they’re done, please message me!
Thank you!!! 😀 These newest girls are going to be looking good once they’re done, and I really hope someone will want to adopt them~ Depending on what body I use for them, they might be really cheap. I have just a couple dollars into the heads, about $7 in their hair, and if I get the $4 body that I did for one of my Liccas… I’d say I could sell them for maybe $25 each!
…mostly just cause I want to see them go somewhere nice. If anyone is interested in one, please message me!
I rescued four (probably) vintage Licca heads off of Ebay because I couldn’t stand to see their listing pictures. Like, look at these.
The images are huge and there’s nothing I can do about it, but these dolls are sad. They were only like $1 each too, so I rescued them o3o They’ve been cleaned up, I have hair to root them now, and they’ll be up for sale once they’re rooted, styled, and given bodies!
…But that also means I’ll have four more dolls for sale. Um, anyone want a Licca? I’d be happy to share progress pics of how they come together! Top one is most likely from the 80′s, and the other three are probably 90′s!

Crystal is a 9 year old AQHA mare, and is a bit… special. In more than one regard.
Crystal is one of the sweetest, most gentle horses I’ve ever met, with the patience of a saint, but she’s got a few quirks about her that make her unique.
For starters, Crystal is smart enough to figure out how to open the door on her stall and how to open the gate, but somehow dumb enough to walk straight into a tree that was directly in front of her. Crystal also LOVES belly rubs and has made us think she was sick/injured a few times cause she’d lay down and scoot herself around on the ground just to scratch her belly. She’s also got a thing for chewing on leadropes (annoyingly…)
This is what you get when you buy a horse that fell into a frozen pond at 3 months old and almost died of hypothermia.
The thing is, Crystal needs some help. Crystal has /something/ going on with her legs that’s made her lame in all 4 legs. This poor mare went from one of the most spirited horses I know to barely able to walk in under 6 months.
The vet can’t pinpoint exactly what’s wrong without some really damned expensive medical procedures ($2000ish just for testing, x-rays, and a few other things). Her owner, my brother, doesn’t have that kind of money, and neither do I.
We both love Crystal dearly, and we’d like to see her healthy again, but unless we can scrape up the cash, we’re afraid she’s going to have to be put down. She, Penny, and Cloud practically grew up together and are pretty much inseparable. (Fame only joined the herd two years ago, but he’s only a two year old anyway)
I don’t usually ask for help, any of my friends will say that I’m really damn stubborn, but Crystal needs the help more than I need my pride. If anyone can donate anything to go towards Crystal potentially getting the help she needs, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Edit; This took off WAY more than I expected, so I decided to create a GoFundMe. Please, even if you can’t donate much, we’d appreciate every penny!
You guys, I still can’t believe all the support Crystal has gotten so far, and I seriously can’t stress enoughhow incredibly thankfulI am.
However, we’re not quite out of the woods yet! Crystal still is gonna need treatment after she gets her x-rays done, or potentially even further testing if the x-rays don’t find anything. Please guys, if we could keep this post going, it would mean the world to Crystal, myself, the other horses, and especially my brother!
Thank you guys so much, and I mean that from the very core of my soul, I am so, so incredibly thankful! Even if you can’t donate, a reblog does just as good!
Thank you again! I’ll schedule an appointment for Crystal to go to the vet sometime next week and post an update ASAP!

I can’t answer this lovely person’s ask because they’ve been blocked, but! I’ll make a lil response here. :>
And first of all, I don’t think this anon understands what “paying an artist for their work” is. I put a massive amount of my time into my blogs on top of being a full time student with severe mental health problems, and I do it almost entirely for free. It’s not a stretch to ask that I get some support during what’s been one of the hardest mental health periods of my life.
I don’t lie about why I’d like to get paid for what I do. It does go towards my hobbies, most often. However, those hobbies are also a big part of why I haven’t severely injured if not killed myself. They’re how I keep my mental health together.
I’m not demanding that people pay me, either. I’m asking for support because I put a lot of time and effort into what I do– time where I could be getting a job and never looking back. A job would pay more. It would pay a lot more. But I want to be here and I want to write. I’m a full time student and I’m disabled. I can’t do everything, and I definitely wouldn’t be able to write like I do if I had a normal job. Honestly, I’d love if this could be my job.
So, dear anon, the reason why I don’t get a job is because I’m choosing to be here, writing so that you can enjoy it.
Or rather, I would be, if you hadn’t been removed from my blog 🙂
