-For a pet, he’d been treated amazingly well. He was still made to work, but the chores were simple and he was well fed for all of them. 

Best of all, you’d given him a garden, a wide open space of dirt and plants and sunshine, and allowed him to do as he pleased with it. He’d spent the past few months plowing and planting and growing things, and now his work was finally bursting into bloom. 

It was then that he noticed you’d come to see him. 

“It looks great, Yuuma! The tomatoes are getting really big, aren’t they? You’ve really done a great job.”

The praise hit him like a kick to the stomach, burning through him like the hottest summer day. You were happy with him, he’d pleased you, his work had been good enough that you felt the need to praise him. 

This garden would be the best one in the world, for you.

-It was common knowledge that Shin spent more time as a wolf that as a human. A large, extremely fluffy wolf with soft ears, a cold nose, and pink fur. 

Was it really that weird that you found it cuter than his human form?

You’d kept this little secret under wraps for as long as you could, knowing you’d be teased mercilessly by the cruel First Blood, but one day, when Shin was preparing to shit back to his human form, it slipped out. 

“Could you maybe stay like that a while longer?”

It was an offhanded comment, one that just barely made it past your determination to keep your preference hidden, but it was enough for him. 

Within seconds, he was on you, already starting into some mocking jab about exactly what is was you were enjoying so much from him. You could feel your whole face heating up, but

… at least he was still fluffy.

Shuu: He’s not afraid in the slightest, and takes everything that happens with a smile and excessive curiosity. 

Reiji: He’s more fascinated by the instruments than anything, and bothers the doctor with endless pestering questions. 

Ayato: He claims not to be afraid, but starts sniffling and squirming in fear the second the doctor comes into the room. 

Kanato: He’s bawling in the car. By the time you even get him to the clinic, it’s escalated into a full on terrified fit. 

Laito: He’s on the verge of a breakdown, and starts sobbing almost as badly as Kanato at the first thing that hurts. 

Subaru: He’s completely composed, and takes anything the doctor has to do to him with a calm, straight face. 

Ruki: He spends most of his visit trying to outsmart the doctor and prove at least one thing that he knows more about. 

Kou: He’s so panicked it’s impossible to pry him off of you, and if he gets scared too badly, he might try to bite someone. 

Yuuma: He’s a bit uncomfortable with the visit, but handles his fear surprisingly well, managing to stay mostly calm. 

Azusa: He’s downright excited for anything that might hurt, and pouts if he doesn’t get to experience any pain. 

Carla: He’s perfectly relaxed the whole time, and takes everything that happens with so little emotion the doctor can hardly believe it. 

Shin: He claims to be perfectly at ease, but you can practically see him shaking, especially when the doctor is nearby. 

Hi! You’re one of my favourite blogs and a really good writer, so I thought I’d ask you this! I’ve been wanting to make a Diabolik Lovers headcanon/writing blog for awhile, but I’m a bit scared to. The fandom on here isn’t always the best either. Do you have any tips for anyone who wants to make a writing blog?

-Yes, the fandom is terrible. The best way to avoid the worst of it is to be strict with your rules, don’t let people get away with being mean to you/breaking said rules, and making it very clear that hate will not stop you. If the anons know that messing with you won’t get them anywhere, they won’t bother. Delete and block rude people, anon or not, and ignore/laugh off anyone who tries to get at you. 

-Decide whether you want to cater to what’s popular or do your own thing. Both have their merits, and it’s all about what’s more fun for you. Don’t be afraid to go with a unique blog idea. Like our Aus, new things in a fandom are always welcome. If you’d rather go along with the trends, that’s fine too. You’ll get a lot of fans quickly that way, and it can be fun to keep up with the various fandom interests. Either way, do what makes you happy. 

-Depending on how you write, set up a way of managing asks that works for you. Some people keep the ask open and only answer what they can, some people have a set limit of asks before they close the box and don’t open it until they’re all answered, some people queue things neatly and keep to a perfect schedule of posts. It’s all up to you and how you write. Don’t be afraid of managing things in a way that you can handle, and don’t hesitate to close the ask for a bit if you feel overwhelmed.

Pet au Carla reacting to an owner who has given him a good quality life and takes especially good care of him when his illness flares up?

-For a very long time, he believes it’s only because of his value. A First Blood, even an ill one, is worth enough to make an effort in keeping it alive, and he assumes his inherent value as a rare species is the only factor in their kindness. Of course, once the costs of keeping him alive exceed even that worth, the good treatment will also come to an end, and it’s only after this doesn’t happen that he actually starts to believe you care. 

-Rest and low activity are what help his illness most, and it eventually recedes to the point where only exertion leaves him agonized and unable to breathe. Flare ups still happen, but the longer he spends able to rest and recover from years of strain, the more the Endzeit recedes. He hates feeling useless, though, and you’ll have to find some ways of keeping his sharp mind busy. 

how do you think the mukami brothers would act around an s/o they really loved? (if possible) this is for canon, btw. thank you —

Ruki:

-When he’s fond of you, he’s more gentle than normal. You’ve obviously been well behaved livestock if you’ve earned his love, and so he’ll no longer have the need to be quite so strict. You’ll be rewarded much more often, and he’ll rarely find reason to be angry or cruel.

Kou:

-Once he’s that in love with you, you’ll be included in his life much more often. He’s more willing to show off a partner that he’s actually fond of– and not just to set up some cruel trick. He’ll want to spend more time around you as well, especially because you’re now the best person to be with.

Yuuma:

-When he likes you, he actually makes an effort to be more gentle. Humans are fragile after all, and it’s not like he wants to damage someone he cares about. You’ll also be included in chores more, forcibly recruited into helping in the garden and spending time with him. 

Azusa:

-The more he cares about you, the more he has to be with you. Aside from craving being hurt by you, he just wants all the contact and attention he can get. He turns into a horribly clingy thing, always following you around and trying to get more affection at every turn. 

Hello, in regards to the Xeno AU attachment instinct, I was wondering, would the attachment have any effect on the vampires wanting the person who they were attached to’s blood? As in would they be more likely to desire it or would it have absolutely no effect on that aspect of their psyche? Or would the response simply vary from vampire to vampire? -Feeding involves a rather intimate connection, and yes, a bond would absolutely affect it. More so than craving the blood, the vampire would be more interested in the connection it can bring. Within vampire society, this effect has been almost erased from common knowledge, seen as weakness and something that should never be spoken of, so there would not be any awareness as to why the bonded person’s blood is so compelling.
