Human au: teasing and tormenting kanato because he has teddy

Admin Mawile: ( * ́꒳`*)੭ 

-”Why do you always carry that toy around? Are you some kind of kid?”

Kanato flinches at your taunting tone, clutching the bear even closer to his chest in a pathetic attempt to hide it from you. How cute. 

It only takes a second to teleport forwards and snatch the toy from his hands. His eyes go wide, and a terrified shriek tears itself from his mouth, hands immediately snapping up to grab after his precious Teddy. 

“G-Give it back! Please. . !”  Tears are welling in Kanato’s eyes, and his voice has taken on a panicked tone as he reaches pathetically for the toy. 

“Nope~ I’m not giving it back until you tell me why you need this stupid thing,” you laugh. “Hey, maybe I should toss it out the window and make you fetch.” Kanato squeaks out a hoarse, broken sob. 

With a grin, you hold the bear just out of his reach. 

Parental au: how quickly do they gain the boys trust?

Admin Mawile: Do you mean individually, or in general? Individually, it depends on the boys’ personal issues with parental figures and opening up to people, but in general, I’d say it’s not too different than canon. Perhaps a little harder, considering their prior hardships. 

I like the new au! Please tell more about it

-So, the main idea is that, instead of being sent as a bride, the reader is sent as a parental substitute. In theory, they’re supposed to help the boys be less… terrible, but that doesn’t exactly go as planned. 

Like in canon, with Yui having major issues with romancing the boys, the reader has just as much trouble winning them over on the friendship side. They’re all still awful, and most of them outright reject the idea of needing anyone but themselves. It’s a long, slow process of kindness and making progress little by little, but in the end, it does pay off. 

Just how there’s a fluffier side with canon, where the boys genuinely love Yui and treat her sort of decently (in their own ways), this Au has an eventual similar point, where the relationship between them and the reader has reached a semi-healthy, semi-loving point. 

However, considering that I thrive off of fictional misery, I am 1000% open to situations within this Au that are angsty, painful, or otherwise messed up. I have no issues with making this dark >:3c

In short, it’s a version of canon where the relationship with the boys is platonic/parental instead of romantic. It has all the same issues and trials as in canon, but the end result is something sort of healthy and good. It’s still difficult, but there’s potential to for positive change.

And I don’t really have a favorite??? I like Carla for obvious reasons, but that’s very much just my bias. I guess I do have least favorites to write though, which are Shin and Yuuma. I always get stuck on their parts of requests ;w; I really hope I write them well enough, cause I tend to feel like I don’t…

I love your Aus (Human Au being a particular favourite) but I also really enjoy your longer work as well (It Takes A Lot Out Of You is such a heart-wrenching and well-paced story, I was super excited when it updated) and I hope you have a great week! <3 <3
