Child AU where the boys try to help their caretaker make dinner. (Also I love all your scenarios and AUs! They’re amazing! Thank you for all your hard work!)

Admin Mawile:(*´▽`*)

Shuu:

-He’s extremely eager to help, despite having never cooked before in his life. There have always been servants to do this kind of thing, and he has no idea what he’s supposed to do for you.

Reiji:

-He’s horribly concerned with doing everything perfectly, and absolutely panics if he messes up in the slightest. He’s convinced that you’ll never want to cook with him again if he does anything wrong.

Ayato:

-He’s horribly overexcited, and probably breaks or ruins a couple things just from moving too quickly. He doesn’t have the slightest idea how to cook, either, and tends not to pay attention to instructions.

Kanato:

-He doesn’t do a whole lot to help out, but follows you around like a miniature shadow, clinging to your leg and insisting Teddy gets to taste everything. It’s rather difficult to work about his clinging.

Laito:

-Despite having very little knowledge about cooking, he’s patient and can follow directions well. The idea of messing up churns his stomach, but it’s worth the risk to earn some favor with you from helping.

Subaru:

-He’s horribly nervous about messing up, and hangs back until you directly tell him to do something. He’ll flinch at the slightest loud noise and look up for your approval constantly, afraid of doing something wrong.

Ruki:

-He’s already used to handling food for his brothers, and turns out to be a decent cook already. He also takes instruction very well, and is genuinely interested in making everything turn out well.

Kou:

-He’s fascinated by the process of cooking, but so terrified of ruining something that he can’t help but stay back. You’ll have to gently coax him into helping if you want him to actually do anything.

Yuuma:

-He’s very interested in food and providing it for people, but is much too rough to cook without at least a few incidents. He’s determined, though, and does better and better the longer he works at it.

Azusa:

-He moves much too slowly to be any use at cooking, and is more likely to stare off into space at cooking food than do anything to it. He does like just watching you cook, though, and he’ll be happy to just be by your side.

Carla:

-Despite knowing very little about how to prepare food, he learns quickly, and will be every bit as capable as you in no time. If you praise him for it, you’ll be able to see him practically glowing with pride.

Shin:

-He’s never had to cook for himself in his life, and the lack of experience shows. After ruining the first few things you have him try to do, he’ll be forced to let you handle the actual cooking until he learns.

could you do childAU where the boys break something but instead of being mad new mom just gets really worried that they hurt themselves?

Admin Mawile: (((╹д╹;)))

Shuu:

-He fully expects a long, boring lecture for being clumsy, and if he’s really unlucky, getting banned from going outside for while. You doing none of the above is an extremely pleasant shock.

Reiji:

-He’s been beaten for less, and he panics the instant he breaks something, fully expecting you to do the same. He can’t believe you’re going to let him get away with nothing, and keeps waiting for the pain to come.

Ayato:

-With her, he could have expected any number of horrific punishments, and even though you’ve been nothing but kind so far, he can’t help but fear for the same treatment to continue now that he’s messed up.

Kanato:

-He’s broken things on purpose before to get attention, and you fussing over him afterwards is like everything he’s always wanted. There’s a good chance more things might be broken in the near future.

Laito:

-He expects to be at least hit for being clumsy, and it’s nearly impossible for him to trust that you really won’t do anything. He feigns unconcerned  apology, but you can easily see how afraid he really is.

Subaru:

-He’s fully prepared for you to fly into a rage over his stupid mistake, and he flinches the second you get within striking range. Even when you do nothing but worry for him, he’s still terrified of what might be coming.

Ruki:

-Aside from being shocked at his own clumsiness, he’s suddenly, unreasonably terrified by how angry you’d have reason to be. He broke something of yours, and at the orphanage, that wouldn’t have ended well.

Kou:

-He flies into a full panic almost instantly, and freezes up on the floor with what he broke, too afraid to even try to run. He’s convinced that you’re going to hurt him now, and that he deserves every bit of it.

Yuuma:

-He fesses up to the mistake immediately, knowing that his punishment will be worse if he tries to hide from you. When you don’t do anything to hurt him, it’s hard to believe you really mean that he doesn’t have to atone.

Azusa:

-He’s fully expecting to be beaten and punished for breaking your things, and he’s actually a bit happy to finally have pain to look forward to. It doesn’t make sense that you won’t hurt him, not after what he did.

Carla:

-He apologizes to you instantly, readying himself for the punishment he knows is coming. You’re kind, so he might be lucky to get away from this without any serious pain, even if he doesn’t deserve any less.

Shin:

-He’s seen Carla be beaten for less, and the panic of that makes him almost shut down. You’ve been so nice to him, and now he had to go and ruin it all, lose every bit of your affection by being so bad.

child au how would the boys react to their new mom calling them an affectionate nickname? like sweetheart/darling/angel/pumpkin something cute for em

Admin Mawile: (๑→‿←๑)

Shuu: He doesn’t care much for the cutesy stuff, but he takes it well just because it’s affection from you.

Reiji: He is NOT a child and he does NOT need to be treated like one! And yet, you can’t miss how he’s blushing.

Ayato: He adores anything that means praising him, and the attention goes straight to his already huge ego.

Kanato: He honestly enjoys any scrap of affection you’re willing to give him, regardless of personal preferences.

Laito: Despite normally not trusting such blatant affection, it’s obvious that he likes the nickname much more than he’s letting on.

Subaru: He flushes instantly at the name, and stutters helplessly every time you use it. The embarrassment never eases.

Ruki: He’s not a fan of sappy nicknames, but when they’re coming from you, it seems more than worth putting up with.

Kou: He delights at the praise every time, and tries to think up an equally sweet name for you, since he likes his so much!

Yuuma: While he’s definitely not one to be pointlessly babied, a cute nickname is actually pretty nice, when it’s from you.

Azusa: He adores absolutely every remotely nice thing you do for him, and a sweet nickname is no different.

Carla: He by no means needs to be babied… . but, he probably won’t stop you from using that name if you must.

Shin: He claims not to like being treated like a kid, but it’s pretty clear that he enjoys the attention more than he admits.

For the Child Au: How would the kids react to a caretaker that protects them from an injury, like takes the hit from a bully for them. Then asks if the kid is the one who is alright? (sorry if this doesn’t make sense)

Admin Mawile: (ノ*゜▽゜*)

Shuu: While he definitely appreciate you standing up for him, he’d much rather one of you punch the bully and teach him to back off.

Reiji: He’s so shaken by the close call that he can hardly speak, and after stuttering over a brief thanks, he falls almost completely silent.

Ayato: The bullying reminded him a little too much of his mother, and he’s shutting down a bit even with you there to save him.

Kanato: He clings to your leg instantly, certain that you’ll protect him from anything now that you’ve taken one hit.

Laito: Honestly, he was probably plotting something worse than the bully could ever imagine, and you were more likely saving them.

Subaru: Social interaction makes him want to go hide anyway, and the close call has him horribly shaken and afraid.

Ruki: He almost would have rather taken the hit himself, but it’s still beyond comforting to know that you’ll stand up for him.

Kou: He’s all but attached to you in a second, terrified of the bully coming back and trying to hurt him if he lets go for an instant.

Yuuma: Considering how hard he can hit, you were really saving the bully. He’s just happy that you wanted to step in and help.

Azusa: He’s a bit disappointed that he didn’t get to be beaten up, but delighted nonetheless that you care enough to try to protect him.

Carla: He insists that he didn’t need your help, but you can easily catch him smiling when he thinks you’re not looking.

Shin: He could have handled himself just fine! Somehow, he takes your interference as an insult to his pride.

A child AU where their new mom rubs their head and tells them she thinks they are going to be amazing when they grew up

Admin Mawile: ヾ(・ω・。)シ

Shuu:

-It’s hard to believe that anyone, even you, could think of him as anything but lazy and unmotivated, not after so long being told he’s exactly that. His mother’s words still feel horribly close, but when it’s you saying that you think he’s good the way he is, it seems almost possible to believe it.

Reiji:

-Any kind of praise from you makes his stomach twist itself into knots, so much happiness filling his small body that it very nearly makes him sick. You’re the first person to treat him like he’s worth more than just Shuu’s second, and your opinion has slowly come to mean the world to him.

Ayato:

-It’s visible how happy even that tiny amount of praise makes him, joy lighting him up from the inside out. After so long of being told he’s worthless and never good enough, hearing the opposite feels like everything he’s ever wanted. The headpats are just an extra bonus.

Kanato:

-Any kind of attention makes him dizzy and teary eyed, and so much praise all at once is enough to bring on a crying fit. He’s not used to praise, especially not delivered so directly, and he has to cling to you, sobbing and sniffling, and calm down for a while after hearing something so kind.

Laito:

-He really doesn’t believe you mean something like that. You’re probably just saying it to make him trust you, but the genuine praise is such a shock he can’t help but fall into the exact trap you must be aiming for, happiness and pride washing over him all at once now that he’s made you happy.

Subaru:

-The idea of someone being proud of him is almost impossible to comprehend, and once it sinks in, he bursts into overwhelmed tears. It’s the first time anyone other than his mother has ever said something like that, and you aren’t even going to turn around and take it back when he upsets you.

Ruki:

-Something about your tone of voice flips some internal switch, and all he can think of is his parents saying the same thing. All at once, he’s crying and shaking all over, hit with every memory of the kindness he’s lost and how even you, wonderful as you are, will never be the same.

Kou:

-Honestly, a few years ago he didn’t think he’d have the chance to grow up, much less such a kind guardian to depend on. He all but melts into the attention, soaking up whatever nice things you’re willing to say, and leaning into the hand on his head like it’s a lifeline.

Yuuma:

-There’s something familiar about the way you’re talking to him, some piece of information pressing on the very edges of what he can remember, but for now, all he can think about is you. The praise makes his entire head go fuzzy with joy, too happy to properly worry about anything.

Azusa:

-He’s always delighted to receive affection from you, and this too leaves him a melty mess of himself, practically trying to climb into your arms out of happiness. It’s an awfully new feelings to be needed without having to hurt for it, but you’re making praise feel every bit as good as pain.

Carla:

-He’s far from used to praise, especially the kind where he didn’t have to suffer to earn it. He shuts down almost instantly, face going red as he hides behind his scarf and tries to retain the dignity to thank you properly while also resisting the urge to lean into the gentle hand on his head.

Shin:

-You’re the first person to genuinely praise him in a long time, and the compliment goes to his head almost instantly. You’ll have to deal with a hyper, ego-fueled Shin for quite a while after, but it’s fairly obvious that the exaggerated reaction is partially to cover up how happy he really is.

Can you do a child AU where the boys over hear their new mom crying.

Admin Mawile:(●´・△・`)

Shuu:

-Despite being afraid that it’s because of something he’s done, he tries to comfort you, all but crawling to your side and hoping the tears won’t turn to anger when he inevitably does something wrong.

Reiji:

-He assumes he’s done something wrong almost instantly, sure that you’re crying because of some offence he’s committed. He wants to help you, but he’s much too afraid that you’ll turn angry at him for getting too close.

Ayato:

-At any sign of you being upset, he’s off frantically searching for somewhere to hide. When she was distressed, it always ended in him or his brothers suffering for it, and he’s not about to take that chance with you.

Kanato:

-The moment he sees you crying, he bursts into tears as well, sobbing into Teddy and praying you’re not upset with him. He wants to make you feel better, but he’s too terrified of what might be coming to even move.

Laito:

-If you even seem upset, he’s nowhere to be found, off huddling behind some heavy piece of furniture and hoping this isn’t the moment you turn cruel. He’s much too used to his mother’s outbursts to trust yours.

Subaru:

-He’s at your side in a second, desperately trying to comfort you while flinching away from any sudden move you make. As afraid as he is, leaving one of her moods alone only made everything worse.

Ruki:

-He’s very calm about comforting you, hovering by your side and offering soothing, if a little bit stiff, words of reassurance. He’s not entirely sure you won’t turn on him, but it hurts to see you sad.

Kou:

-If he hears you raise your voice for any reason, he’s gone, cowering and sobbing and curled in on himself in terror. If you’re not happy, that means you might be getting ready to finally be mean.

Yuuma:

-He tries his absolute best to be comforting and helpful, but the longer you’re upset, the more he starts to doubt himself. What if you stay in a bad mood forever? What if you don’t want him anymore?

Azusa:

-His first response is to offer to be beaten to make you feel better, claiming that you’ll be happier if you take your sadness out on him. He won’t leave your side for a second, praying that he’ll be able to be useful soon.

Carla:

-He’ll try to comfort you, but the effort is clearly forced. You can all but see him shaking, afraid that you’ll decide this sadness is somehow his fault, something which has happened enough times to make him wary of it.

Shin:

-He avoids you when you’re in a bad mood, secretly terrified that you’ll decide to take it out on him just for being there. Worse, if he’s bad at all now, you’ll have a very good reason to make him regret it.

Child!AU and Pet Au Crossover!! Where their mummy work at the pet shop she let the kids play/ take care with their counterpart pets.(If you want, you can just one family for now so that wouldn’t be too much to write, and it can be any of the family you guys like.)

Admin Mawile: (ᅌᴗᅌ* ) Just for clarity, the kids are named here and the pets are not~ Oh and just for this ask, the kids are human

Shuu:

-Shuu gets along well enough with the pet, but it’s pretty obvious that he’d rather be sleeping than dealing with an excitable child. Fortunately, the pet is lazy enough that no one has to worry about him hurting the child, even when Shuu annoys him or gets a little too rough.

Reiji:

-Reiji knows that pets like this one are common status symbols, but it still seems vaguely wrong to keep such an intelligent creature like an animal. He never voices these thoughts, though, and goes to great lengths to treat the pet like any other person would, as is proper.

Ayato:

-Ayato isn’t the most careful child, and he tends to scare the pet by being too rough or moving too quickly. He very much enjoys being around the pet, yes, but he’s nowhere near gentle enough to be left unsupervised with a creature that’s trained not to defend itself.

Kanato:

-Kanato is honestly a bit scared of the empty-eyed pet in his mother’s store. Some of the other pets aren’t so bad, but this one is just sad looking and cries too often. It makes him nervous to be around him, like he could very easily do something to permanently damage him.

Laito:

-The kinds of things he knows pets go through makes Laito rather sick. Even if they are just animals designed for said purposes, he can’t help but be uncomfortable around them. This pet in particular gives off an absolutely miserable atmosphere, and Laito can’t stand it.

Subaru:

-It’s rather unlikely that a child would be left alone with such a dangerous pet, but Subaru has a surprising amount of luck with him. He’s convinced that the pet isn’t actually dangerous, and has no fear of being near him. The pet just seems sad and scared to him, not like a threat.

Ruki:

-Ruki is very responsible with the pet, and can be trusted alone with him if only because he’s every bit as capable as most adults. The pet, too, is even tempered and gentle, and even though he’s a stray, it’s fairly obvious that he poses no threat, even to a child.

Kou:

-The very concept of pets makes Kou more than a little sick, and this terrified creature reminds him far too much of his past. He can’t stand to be near the pet without breaking into tears, and the pet is every bit as terrified of Kou as he is any other human that tries to get near him.

Yuuma:

-Yuuma is perfectly comfortable around the pet, even knowing that he’s three times his size and a dangerous stray vampire. The pet doesn’t seem like much of a problem to him, especially not when all he does is try to behave and stay out of the way of other humans.

Azusa:

-Azusa and the pet get along extremely well, but you should keep a very careful eye on them. Both of them see pain as a good thing; the pet will all but offer himself to be punished, and Azusa is every bit as willing to be hurt. They’re both gentle, but these tendencies can be trouble.

Carla:

-Carla is more than capable of handling the pet. He knows enough to be careful with an ill pet, respecting both his good breeding and worth. The pet also does well with someone so reserved, who won’t pester him too much or force him into things that make his sickness act up.

Shin:

-Shin really isn’t the best child to leave unattended with a pet, especially one that’s been abused before. Even if it’s unintentionally, he’s much too rough and excitable to handle the pet on his own. While the pet has been trained, he’s still likely to lash out in the face of bad memories.

How do the boys react to their new caretaker/mom having a really beautiful and soothing voice who likes to sing sometimes?

Admin Mawile: o(´∀`*)

Shuu: He adores your voice, and very frequently begs you to join him for music practice. Your singing the perfect accompaniment to his violin.

Reiji: He hates to admit just how calming your voice is, seeing it as childish and pathetic that you can affect him so much.

Ayato: Softly talking to him is one of the few things that can successfully calm him down… and that he actually enjoys.

Kanato: He’s a bit worried that you won’t have any need for his singing, but is far too fond of the soothing sound to voice these concerns.

Laito: He appreciates your calming voice more than he likes to admit, especially when it comes to nightmares and bad memories.

Subaru: Your voice actually makes him feel safe, and even though it feels demanding, he can’t help but want more of it.

Ruki: While he’d never be so immature as to depend on it, your voice is a calming force that he hates to admit to.

Kou: He’s a bit jealous that you get to have such a pretty voice, and more or less hangs on anything you say, trying to figure out how you do it.

Yuuma: He’s not always great at paying attention to what people say, but when it’s your voice, it’s a lot easier to keep track of things.

Azusa: He could listen to you talk for years, and very nearly falls into a trance just from being talked to for a few minutes.

Carla: He doesn’t show a lot of reaction, but, if you look very carefully, you’ll catch his eyes softly slipping closed when you talk.

Shin: It’s kind of shameful how calm your voice makes him feel, but no amount of resisting it makes it any less captivating.

One for the child AU! A scenario of Reiji, Laito, Kou, and Ayato helping and taking care of their own mom if she was sick? Love your blog by the way, keep up the great work! :)

Admin Mawile: o(`・∀・´)○ Thank you!!

Reiji:

-You really weren’t that sick.

It was just a small cold that you could tell you’d recover from in days, but Reiji hadn’t stopped worrying and fussing over you since you first laid down.

Between tea that was far too sweet (you suspected he’d spilled the sugar again) and three strange concoctions you hoped were edible, he hadn’t left you alone for nearly six hours now.

“This one will definitely fix it! I’ve perfected the recipe this time!”

Offering another foul looking paste, he looked so sure of himself that you couldn’t bear to say no.

Laito:

-He was still watching you.

You were only a little bit sick, and were only laying down to deal with a rather annoying headache, but you’d felt tiny eyes on you the entire time.

Laito had brushed off your illness with a smile, happily advising you to get lots of rest and promising to behave while you slept, but he hadn’t moved from your doorway yet, still staring intently at your resting form.

As much as you wanted to get up and reassure him, you knew it wouldn’t help.

So you pretended not to notice his worry, sparing the poor boy’s ego while you could. If that was what made him feel better, you could put up with it.

Kou:

-It seemed like he thought you were going to die.

Despite hours of insistence that it was just a minor cold, Kou had been fussing over you for hours, scarcely leaving your side.

It was probably some kind of misguided attempt to “repay” you for taking care of him, but he really was doing everything he could, from bringing you drinks and medicine to adjusting your blankets every few minutes.

“Thank you, cute, you’re doing wonderfully.”

Even your quiet praise was enough to make his face light up, obviously proud of being able to be useful to you.

Ayato:

-“It’s just a little cold, honey. If I sleep I’ll be fine.”

Despite your reassurances, Ayato didn’t loo convinced. He was still staring miserably at you, face scrunched up in worry.

He squirmed closer, burying his face in your side, ignoring your previous warnings of catching your illness. One tiny fist clenched tightly in your blanket, and you could feel warm breath on your stomach.

“… . I’ll protect you.”

It was a flimsy excuse to disguise his own worry, but you accepted it, pulling his small body closer and silently agreeing.

What would kids do in the Child AU when their adoptive mother/Caretaker gives them a gift they’ve wanted for a long time for their birthday? (I really love this AU and you’re blog. I always check back to see if it’s been updated!)

Admin Mawile: (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* Awwww~

Shuu: He’s been trained to be polite, and softly thanks you before letting any excitement shine through. After that, though, he’s ecstatic.

Reiji: He’s so happy he can hardly think, and probably expresses it by writing you a long, ridiculously fancy thank you note later.

Ayato: Mere seconds after laying eyes on the gift, he’s completely hyper, all but bouncing around the room with joy over an actual present.

Kanato: The idea of being given something that’s not just a cast off is more than a little foreign to him, and he probably cries out of joy.

Laito: While he’s definitely happy, he expects you to charge for the gift later, and can’t help but worrying over when that price will come.

Subaru: He’s so happy he almost cries, and can’t stop thanking your for a solid ten minutes, afraid that you’ll decide he doesn’t deserve the gift.

Ruki: He politely thanks you, and tries very, very hard to keep his excitement contained, unwilling too look childish in front of someone he cares about.

Kou: While he doesn’t entirely trust a present to be without a cost, he can’t bring himself to say no to a present from you.

Yuuma: He’s so excited he can hardly take it, but makes sure to thank you properly before letting joy get the better of him.

Azusa: He can hardly believe you’re giving him something, and spends a few quiet minutes just staring in awe at his present.

Carla: No matter how happy he is, he keeps an even face and thanks you, refusing to show any “childish” joy over a present.

Shin: Even if the present is nowhere near as fancy as what he’s used to, the praise implied from even a simple gift is enough to delight him.
