I love this blog! Keep up the good work! I was wondering how in the pet!au humans came to be dominant over vampires and founders?

Admin Mawile: 「(゚ペ)

-At some point ages ago, humans established some small measure of superiority. Maybe it was just not being seen as food anymore, maybe it was something more dramatic, but that small event slowly escalated into outright dominance, with humans gaining more and more power over supernatural creatures. Eventually, humans started to breed said creatures to be less aggressive and weaker, disposing of individuals that didn’t cooperate, leading to the heavily weakened, biologically trained pets of the modern world. It was a slow escalation of power that changed everything, and one that happened over enough time that the creatures never saw it coming.

Okay, so you guys answered the pocket boys au question a little while ago. I find that I tend to wear a camisole with a shelf built in, and an open, checkered, flannel button up over that (I have like six different color combos, I know, I need a better wardrobe, and yes, I’m wearing a bra). What would the boys do if I put them down in the shelf in my camisole instead? I’d have a better chance of remembering that they were there, plus they wouldn’t get crushed in my jeans… Just curious…

Admin Mawile: (⌒▽⌒)ゞ

-Well, anything is better than getting squished. The response is generally the same as the other question, and as long as it’s comfortable enough, none of them are really going to complain (with the exception of a couple who are difficult to handle anyway), so a spot like that is a pretty good idea for transporting your pocket vampire. Just be careful; putting them that close to your skin is a good way to get bitten.

I want to request a scenario of Reiji in Pet AU! Of him thinking about how happy/content he is having lived with his owner who has been very good to him and gives him intellectually stimulating things like books since he really enjoys that. Thank you!!

Admin Mawile: (灬╹ω╹灬)

-It was unbelievable. He, nothing more than a pet, in the kind of home where he was allowed so much freedom and peace.

He must have managed to earn this somehow, Reiji thought, still so unsure as to how he’d ever managed to achieve such peace. His owner had been remarkably kind from day one, and he still had no idea as to why, what you’d ever seen in an imperfect pet like him.

For once, though, he felt a sense of contentment. He was clearly keeping your favor, and the knowledge that his owner was satisfied was enough to leave his chest warm with satisfaction.

He’d been good enough for you.

Good enough that you’d chosen to spend your precious time attending to his needs, giving him whatever he required to be happy.

Yes, he was so lucky it was almost a miracle. Owners as kind as you were nearly nonexistent, and whatever he’d done to make himself worth having to someone like you, he was so grateful he’d done it.

What’s acceptable in terms of affection between an owner and a pet in the pet au?

Admin Mawile: ヾ(〃゚ー゚〃)ノ

-While, in the public eye, there’s an appropriate amount of distance that owner are required to keep, it’s more for the sake of the owner’s reputation than anything to do with the pet itself. In private, humans can do whatever they please with a pet that they own. As vampires and other creatures are seen as much tougher than humans, they can be treated however an owner pleases, and affection is no different; if a human chooses to be affectionate with their pet, its entirely their business.

Can you do a Child AU where the mom takes Shu and Reiji to a nice restaurant like the one with the triplets?

Admin Mawile: (〃・ω・〃)ノ~☆

Shuu:

-He’s beyond excited, and bounces around in joy for almost the entire meal. It’s his first time anywhere so fancy without an actual parent around, and the freedom to order what he wants and act how he pleases gets to him. Even if Reiji gets upset, though, there’s very little that can dampen his joy at being able to go somewhere so nice with you.

Reiji:

-He’s so well behaved it’s almost scary, and acts like the perfect little gentleman no matter what happens, determined not to embarrass you. The only break in his composure comes if Shuu misbehaves, in which case he’ll strictly reprimand his brother, furious that the older boy would dare do anything to ruin your time at the restaurant.

Shu and Reiji’s animosity stemmed from their mom right? Does that change in child au with a kind caretaker?

Admin Mawile: 。(*^▽^*)ゞ

-Yes, a good caretaker does wonders to improve their relationship. It can’t entirely fix the years of hatred and jealousy but equal treatment and unconditional love go a long ways towards making things better. Both boys are capable of forgiving the other at least a little bit, and with someone around to mediate and encourage better behavior, a much healthier relationship is possible with enough time and effort.

The DiaLovers having an s/o with an extreme fear of the dark?

Admin Mawile: (*´ω`*)

Shuu: He doesn’t care in the slightest, but once he finds out just how bad your fear is, might throw you somewhere dark to get you out of his way.

Reiji: He won’t stand for such a childish, hindering fear, and starts you on a strict regiment of exposure therapy to train it out of you.

Ayato: He finds your fear absolutely hilarious, and takes every chance to lock you up somewhere dark enough to make you cry.

Kanato: It doesn’t matter to him what you’re afraid of, and he really only bothers to use it against you when he’s mad.

Laito: The lights always have to be on, hmm? Aside from his usual nastiness, he only uses your fear as a means of punishment sometimes.

Subaru: Afraid or not, you’re still going into his coffin with him. If anything, he finds your terror absolutely hilarious.

Ruki: Of course livestock would have such a pathetic fear. Most likely, he’ll try to train the response out of you out of sheer annoyance.

Kou: He will most definitely use said fear to terrorize you any time you make him mad, so you’ll have to be extra careful to avoid that.

Yuuma: It doesn’t matter to him if you’re afraid of the dark, and he forgets about your fear almost as soon as you tell him about it.

Azusa: Hes about as understanding as a vampire can be, and at least tries to accommodate your fear and avoid scaring you.

Carla: He will absolutely use your fear to punish you, if he has to, but otherwise does very little with it, mostly forgetting that you’re even afraid.

Shin: Your terror is funny to him, and he takes every chance to toss you into dark places just for the sake of hearing you scream.

I love your pet au so much! Could I ask how all the boys would react to gentle pets after being with one owner for a long time? Thank you!!!

Admin Mawile: (‘∀’●)♡

Shuu:

-Attention makes him feel lazy and tired, like he doesn’t need to do anything to please you and can relax into the affection for as long as he wants. If he really trusts you, he’s actually rather likely to fall asleep from petting, utterly content to not have to do any more to earn your favor.

Reiji:

-While he hates the very idea of appearing anything less than perfect to you, positive attention makes him almost dizzy with joy. It’s so rare for pets to be praised or loved in any way, he can’t help but want to soak up all the kindness for however long this unusual behavior will last.

Ayato:

-He loves any and all affection an owner will give him, taking it as a sign that he’s done good enough to be wanted. There’s always the slight fear the the attention will be some kind of cruel trick, but it’s much too hard to even silently doubt the only kindness he’s allowed.

Kanato:

-He goes completely soft and and takes whatever affection you want to give him, too afraid of resisting you do to anything else. Even if he didn’t like the petting, he wouldn’t have any choice but to take it, so it’s a very good thing that he absolutely thrives on affection from his owner.

Laito:

-He’s not usually one to trust affection, but after long enough with a sufficiently kind owner, that stars to change. Eventually, he’ll willingly allow you to pet him, slowly leaning into the contact instead of going still. It in’t much, but for him the change is nothing short of enormous.

Subaru:

-He’s horribly unused to anything resembling gentle touch, and instinctively flinches away even after ages of being with you. Once he realizes that you really intend no harm, he can correct the response better, but the urge to back away from potential danger never really fades.

Ruki:

-Pets are expected to take whatever their owners choose to do, and he’ll barely react to petting in an effort to supply that. Pulling away would be as good as denying the touch, and leaning into it would be expressing a very forbidden amount of personal opinion.

Kou:

-He doesn’t trust contact in the slightest, and until he trusts you with his life, will flinch away from any and all attempts at it. In his mind, attention always equals pain, and even if it’s you, the idea of a human getting close enough to touch him makes him feel absolutely sick.

Yuuma:

-He knows that to keep his home, he has to go along with what you want, and will reluctantly lean into petting to at least make it seem like he enjoys it. He winds up liking the contact a lot more than he’d like to admit, and his pretend enjoyment winds up not entirely faked.

Azusa:

-He’ll happily accept anything you want to do to him, and even if he suspects that petting will turn into pain, he’s more than happy to allow you to do it. He’d never dare go against what his owner wants of him, and he’s absolutely happy to comply with whatever you want to do to him.

Carla:

-He’s been trained to take whatever an owner wants to do to him, and doesn’t dare to go against your wishes. The petting isn’t too bad, actually, and it’s not hard for him to at least pretend to relax. If this is what he has to put up with from you, things could be much worse.

Shin:

-While it’s fairly obvious that he doesn’t trust you a bit, he doesn’t dare try to resist your affections. An owner’s choices are supreme, regardless of what he wants, and even if, deep inside, he’s a bit scared of what kind of pain petting could mean, he’s not stupid enough to say no.

how would the diaboys react to someone making and giving them valentines day chocolates?

Admin Mawile:(*’∀’人)♥

Shuu: He’ll accept the chocolate with a teasing comment about how you must feel about him. Your gift is likely to be forgotten somewhere.

Reiji: He’s more likely to criticize your chocolate recipe than anything, so don’t expect him to have anything nice to say about what you made.

Ayato: He takes the chocolate as a personal compliment, and it raises his ego a good few notches to know that you “love him” so much.

Kanato: Sweets are the most effective way to get on his good side, and he will happily accept any and all chocolate you offer.

Laito: After happily accepting the gift, he does something horribly inappropriate claiming that he needs to “repay” you for the chocolate.

Subaru: He’s horribly flustered by the sappy gift, and vanishes instantly after accepting it, too embarrassed to face you any longer.

Ruki: He politely takes the gift and thanks you, but it’s pretty clear that he’s only doing so out of a sense of propriety and politeness.

Kou: He gets so many gifts at this time of year that yours is just one for the pile, likely to get lost in the sheer number of others.

Yuuma: He happily takes the food, and starts eating it in front of you, too delighted by the sugar to even think about manners.

Azusa: He’s honestly just happy you thought of him, and immediately starts thinking of ways to make you happy in return.

Carla: He claims to have no need for a gift from a human holiday, but takes the chocolate anyway, looking happier than he wants to be.

Shin: He’ll tease you endlessly for giving him such a sappy gift, but is secretly very happy to have a present all to himself.

pet au: how would they react to their owner having depression and sometimes not getting out of bed for 1-3 days unless they really need to do so? thanks

Admin Mawile: (′︿‵。)

Shuu:

-Honestly, he can understand how you’re feeling. If he could get away with it, he’d probably be doing the same thing, so it’s not like he can judge you for wanting to stay in bed and not have to face the world.

Reiji:

-He can’t comprehend the idea of being so useless, and while he’d never dare mention it to you, he’s almost angry that you won’t do anything. For all the potential you have as a human, you’re wasting all of it.

Ayato:

-He can’t figure out why you don’t want to get up and do things, and tends to pester you when you try to sleep for too long. He’s afraid of what will happen if you get angry, but wants to see you active and well even more.

Kanato:

-He doesn’t understand why you sleep so much and refuse to do things, and tends to assume that you’re upset with him. He simply doesn’t grasp that mental illness is a thing, and especially not in humans.

Laito:

-It might actually be better that his owner isn’t up and about too often. As long as you’re asleep, you can’t do anything to hurt him, and he almost finds himself dreading the rare times when you’re up and active.

Subaru:

-He has no idea why a human would feel the need to sleep so often, and while he can kind of understand why you want to avoid the world, he doesn’t like the idea of how bad for you this kind of behavior could be.

Ruki:

-The idea of an owner that spends more time sleeping than acting is a strange one, and he at least knows enough to be concerned. All he can do is hope that there’s no medical issues behind your unusual exhaustion.

Kou:

-He can’t exactly complain about an owner that mostly leaves him alone, and if you’re sleeping, you can’t do anything to hurt him. Despite that, though, something about your sleeping habits worries him.

Yuuma:

-He doesn’t understand what makes you need to sleep all the time, and grows increasingly worried with your lack of activity. It can’t be good for a human to just sit around all day and do nothing but sleep.

Azusa:

-He’s extremely concerned by your sleeping patters, and, while he’s trained to assume that humans are always right, can’t help but question if it’s really healthy for you to spend so much of the day in bed.

Carla:

-While the most likely answer is that you struggle with your own illness, he had trouble seeing your behavior as anything but laziness. Since you’re a human, spending so much time inactive is something you can get away with.

Shin:

-As much as he appreciates having an owner who leave him alone most of the time, there’s something distinctly wrong about how you’re acting. There’s not much he can do, though, so he mostly stays quiet.
