-He’s used to a mother who’s practically perfect, and has no idea how to deal with you being the near opposite. However, it’s definitely nice not to feel like he has to measure up to someone so much better than him.
Reiji:
-He has a hard time putting up with imperfections in himself, and it definitely takes him a while to get used to you being so much less than perfect. He’s definitely used to holding people to high standards.
Ayato:
-Being the only thing you can keep track of is definitely a boost to his ego, and it’s good for him to see someone who isn’t good at everything, unlike how his mother made him think he’s expected to be.
Kanato:
-As long as you remember him and Teddy, he doesn’t care a bit about how disorganized you are. All that really matters to him is if he’s getting attention from you, and he’s not likely to care about your personal habits.
Laito:
-Your forgetful nature gives him a good opportunity to win some of your favor by being helpful. If he helps you keep track of things, you’ll look at him fondly, making his position in your household much safer.
Subaru:
-It doesn’t bother him a bit that you’re forgetful. It’s so much of a shock that you remember him that he doesn’t think to care. He’s much more used to just being an afterthought in people’s minds, even his mother’s.
Ruki:
-Even though he finds himself a bit irritated with how imperfect you are, he’s a huge help in helping you remember and keep track of things. Honestly, you’re too good for him to bother with being picky.
Kou:
-He barely notices how forgetful you are, in all honestly. He’s not one to pay attention to the small flaws of the person who actually takes care of him. To him, you’re perfect no matter what you’re like.
Yuuma:
-No matter how forgetful you are, he’s happy to help out, doing whatever he can to help you function every day. He doesn’t mind any bit of your personality, and is always happy that you manage to remember him.
Azusa:
-He hardly even realizes how disorganized you can be, mostly thanks to the fact that he’s twice as spacey himself. He also tends to see you as absolutely perfect, and barely notices any flaws that you have.
Carla:
-He has no problems with how you are, other than the fact that it’s hard for him to accept anything less than perfection. He’s always been trained to have to be perfect, and he doesn’t understand how anyone could not be the same.
Shin:
-He tends to get a little bit frustrated with your bad memory, but as long as you remember him, he won’t get too upset. He’s used to an environment where perfection is expected, and can’t believe you can be so not.
-He pretends to not care, but if you pay attention, you can see that he’s getting rather flustered. Acknowledging to himself that he likes what you do to him is one thing, but having it pointed out is worse in so many ways.
Reiji:
-He’s so embarrassed that his blush practically glows. If you point it out too much, he’ll get angry and defensive, so go easy on the poor guy before you actually crush what little ego he has left.
Ayato:
-It’s a huge hit to his pride to have you actually pointing out how much he likes being pushed around, and he gets angry out of sheer desperation to make you stop. His ego absolutely can’t take being teased.
Kanato:
-If you tease him about it too much, he’s likely to cry. On one hand, you’re paying attention to him, which is always good, but he doesn’t like being made fun of at all, especially over something so embarrassing.
Laito:
-He laughs and goes along with it, and depending on if your relationship is close, might tease you back for being a sadist. Inside, he doesn’t like being teased very much, but it’s better than some things you could do.
Subaru:
-He turns so red you might actually have to worry about him passing out, and stutters out an absolutely pathetic defense. He can’t take embarrassment of any kind, and practically shuts down from the teasing.
Ruki:
-It very nearly crushes his pride to have you pointing out something like that even if it is true. He’ll try to end the conversation quickly, too ashamed to handle you continuing to make fun of him.
Kou:
-He tries to laugh off the teasing, but it’s obvious how red his face and ears have gone. He starts tripping over his words quickly, visibly embarrassed by the kind of teasing that’s impossible to deny or dismiss.
Yuuma:
-He ducks his head and refuse to look at you, face heating up as you point out what’s possibly the most embarrassing thing he’s ever had to admit. He gets angry quickly out of a sheer desire to make you stop.
Azusa:
-He happily agrees with you, completely missing the point of the teasing. It doesn’t embarrass him a bit that he’s masochistic, and if anything, he’s hopeful that you’ll do something to prove that he is.
Carla:
-He goes quiet almost immediately, trying to keep his cool even as you tear his pride to shreds. He’s so embarrassed the tips of his ears are actually going red, hands faintly shaking from the shame.
Shin:
-He gets viciously angry with you for teasing him, snapping at you to shut up already and quit making fun of him. He can’t stand the hits to his pride and would do almost anything just to make you stop.
-The general societal view on vampires is pretty similar to how we see exotic pets. They’re fancy, high maintenance, and have the potential to be dangerous, but a lot of people are insistent that they can be safe owning them. They’re expensive to own, as they function similarly to humans, and generally can be seen as something like owning a combination of an expensive breed of purebred cat and a rather large snake; fancy and high quality, but difficult to care for and potentially dangerous.
-Humans generally treat vampires the same as they would animals. They’re known to be trained into safe behavior, and the humans that are comfortable with owning them treat ones that aren’t theirs the same as they would someone else’s large dog; impressive and amazing to see from a distance probably wise to ask before getting too close in case it’s not one of the well trained ones. Humans who don’t like how human vampires look are more likely to keep their distance and just avoid the situation altogether.
-There are probably some people who are in favor of vampire rights, although they’d likely be seen as rather extreme, like a certain animal rights group today. Vampires are generally accepted as too dangerous to be kept in any other way, and most people easily excuse the worst aspects of their treatment with “they’re tough enough to take it” or “it’s the only way to keep them tame”.
-Vampires see humans as something to be feared and respected. Through selective breeding, only the weakest, most compliant ones still exist, and those that are kept in the breeding pool fully believe that it’s their place to be underneath humans. They’re well aware that disobedience will get them killed, and know very well that they have to obey and play nice or risk being put down. Many of them are outright afraid of humans, since they know all too well the kinds of things that happen when one gets mad. Many are even happy to be with an owner that actually takes care of them.
-Humans that don’t own vampires are split between those that just don’t have one, and those that are actively made uncomfortable by the practice. Those that just don’t have one see those that do as we see people with dogs or cats; a normal part of society that they just don’t choose to take part in. Those that don’t like the practice at all are more likely to view it as how we see exotic pets like tigers and monkeys; unsafe and probably a bad idea to mess with.
Admin Mawile: Aaaaand the flu came back. So sorry to ya’ll that this took so long to get posted, but I’ve been feeling pretty gross for the past week OAO I’m a very tired Admin…
My human Au designs for the Mukami and Tsukinami are below!
-Very, very responsible, with a cool, collected personality and a desire to have control at all times. More or less the surrogate mom of his brothers.
-His parents were wealthy business people who’s fortune was lost in a bad investment. His parents gave up custody of him after they decided they could no longer provide for him properly in their home.
-The orphanage was still an absolute nightmare, just more neglectful instead of outright torturous. Ruki wasn’t branded, but he had in stamped in his papers that he’s a troublemaker, which made it very hard for him to find a home.
-He’s very insistent on taking care of his family, and can’t stand to be away from his brothers. They’re his real family now, and he’s impossibly attached.
-His hair is mostly the same as in canon, if a bit shorter and spikier. He’s very careful with his appearance, and tries to look neat at all times.
-Clothing wise, he wears semi-formal, proper things that fit him well and flatter his appearance. He’s very conscious of how he looks, and makes an effort to be presentable and well dressed whenever others can see him.
Mukami Kou:
-His personality is still two faced, but much less dramatic a change than in canon. He’s sort of a dark person, but hides it under a cutesy exterior.
-As a child abandoned by his family, he spent most of his life in the orphanage, and can’t remember his parents. He was neglected and treated very strictly there, but nowhere near to the extent of what happened in canon.
-He’s still an idol, but much less famous than his canon counterpart. He was recruited for his cute face and good voice, and adores what fame he has.
-He still believes in give and take, and has a hard time accepting that anyone can be nice to him if they don’t want something in return. He has major trust issues due to abandonment, and only truly trusts his brothers.
-Longer, fluffier hair than in canon, that he styles to be as fashionable and cute as possible. He no longer wears a ponytail (since he doesn’t have the magic eye), but takes great care to always look his best for his fans.
-His clothing style is cutesy and mostly pink and black. He has an image to maintain, and is very picky about what brands he wears.
Mukami Yuuma:
-He’s a loud, aggressive, straightforward person who hates pretense and complicated things. A bit dim, he tends to solve problems with strength instead of reason, and is determined to take care of his family.
-His parents were in an accident when he was young (shortly after moving away from a certain friend), and he wound up in the orphanage after that.
-He doesn’t remember Shuu because of the trauma he suffered when losing his family, and has blocked out a lot of his childhood for the same reason.
-Was part of a street gang during his orphanage years, at least until Ruki made him quit. He’s very good at getting close to people and making friends, and his honest, blunt personality wins people over well.
-He has longer hair than in canon, and wears it in a similar messy ponytail. He rarely brushed it, preferring to just tie it up and keep it out of his way.
-Fashion wise, his style is casual and simple, things that won’t get in his way while gardening or give him any trouble to pick out. He wears mostly plain things, and goes through a lot of clothes thanks to rips and tears.
Mukami Azusa:
-With a highly gentle and quiet personality, people expect him to be a doormat. He’s actually highly aggressive and pushy, and almost always gets his way.
-He was abandoned by his family when he was a baby, and had spent his entire life in the orphanage before Karlheinz adopted them. He’s never known family before his brothers, and had been bullied and neglected terribly.
-He’s still a total masochist, although what he can do is a bit limited because he’s just a human. He loves being hurt and sees pain as love and acceptance, and still has an ongoing self harm hobby.
-More shy than he is as a vampire, Azusa tends to stay out of the way unless he wants something. He’s horribly afraid of being demanding and getting thrown away because of it.
-His hair is shorter than in canon, and he wears it in a cropped fluffy cut that takes very little effort to maintain. He tends to forget to take care of himself.
-As far as clothing goes, he likes soft, comfortable things that he can stay warm in. He’s very skinny and gets cold easily, and wears a lot of sweaters and soft shirts because of this. He likes dark colors, especially red and blue.
Tsukinami Carla:
-He’s a stern, cold person much like in canon, but his softer side isn’t hidden anywhere near as deeply as it if for his First Blood self.
-Gentle and soft hearted by nature, he’s had to train himself to be cold for the sake of taking over the family business. He was abused by his father throughout his youth, and forces himself to be cold and tough.
-He’s chronically ill with an unidentified condition, and suffers from all kinds of symptoms that make even basic functioning nearly impossible.
-Originally from a highly wealthy family, after his mother passed away from illness, his father made poor choices and lost everything, later abandoning the family. Shin is the only one left that he can rely on, especially while he’s ill.
-His hair is longer than in canon, and he usually wears it in a long, loose ponytail that goes almost to his waist. He hasn’t cut it since he was a child.
-His fashion is very formal and proper, and her wears mostly neutral colors that compliment his looks. He’s very vain, and makes a massive effort to present himself well, even when his sickness has him nearly bedridden.
Tsukinami Shin:
-He’s highly aggressive and gets himself into trouble constantly, mostly for acting out and starting fights. Carla is honestly ashamed of him for it.
-Instead of losing his eye, he just got a nasty scar over it when he was younger. The scar came from a fight he picked with the wrong person, from which Carla had to negotiate to rescue him from.
-Horribly stubborn, he does exactly what he wants regardless of what anyone thinks. He’s a troublesome boy, and can never stay off of someone’s bad side.
-He looks up to Carla above all, and has a highly close, respectful relationship with him. He lacks the hatred that his canon self feels for his brother, and cares so much for Carla than he’s given up almost everything to take care of him.
-His hair is longer than it is in canon, and is worn in a loose uncombed style that he thinks makes him look cool and tough.
-The style that he wears can best be described as edgy. He thinks the things he wears look cool, but few others would agree. He wears mostly dark colors, and many, many things that have wolf motifs on them.
Admin Mawile: ( ・ω・)ノ This was really fun to write!
-Don’t let him talk you into hurting him. As much as he wants it, you can get a lot farther with him by being kind. He’ll get used to not being hurt eventually, and can learn other ways of being shown care.
-Affection will very nearly break him. He’s completely used to only being shown “appreciation” through pain, and genuine kindness will practically make him shut down. Be patient and nice to him, and he’ll learn how to adjust.
-He’ll eat himself sick if you let him, so monitor how much he gets to eat. He’s not used to having food, and will eat anything he’s given.
-All of his scars can be pretty painful at times. As much as he claims to like it, learn the signs and help him when he’s hurting. He’ll be eternally grateful for the care, even if he claims to be fine with the pain.
-He’s likely to try to hide how much pain he’s in in the hopes you’ll hurt him more. Make it very clear that you always expect the truth from him.
-Attention and praise rule him more than anything. If you’re good to him, he’ll do anything you say without the slightest hesitation.
-You’ll probably have to work on his confidence. He sees himself as worthless unless he’s being hurt, and will need a lot of kindness and reassurance to ever see himself in any other way.
-It’s unlikely that he’ll express his needs and wants for fear of being a burden, and you’ll be wise to learn to ask him what he needs from you.

-The style that he wears can best be described as edgy. He thinks the things he wears look cool, but few others would agree. He wears mostly dark colors, and many, many things that have wolf motifs on them.
-He’s glad that he doesn’t have to bother with putting you in your place, and mostly lazes around and demands things of you. Since you’re so compliant, there’s no reason not to mess with you by forcing you to feed him and spoil him, and he thinks it’s downright cute how you always rush to please.
Reiji:
-He’s highly pleased that you already show the first signs of being a decent partner, and especially that he won’t have to do any more to train you than get your manners up his standards. You definitely have some potential as a long term partner, and he’ll make good use of that prospective quality.
Ayato:
-He gets a little bit bored of you not fighting back, and comes up with creative ways to punish you anyway just so he has something fun to do. He honestly prefers a partner with a little bit of fight in them, although having someone around who worships his every move isn’t bad at all.
Kanato:
-You’re the ideal doll, and he takes full advantage of how obedient and manipulable you are. He’s demanding and cruel, doing everything possible to isolate you from the world and make sure that you have eyes only for him. He can’t possibly let someone as wonderful as you get away.
Laito:
-He has a bit of preference for people that are fun to corrupt, and if you’re too obedient and willing, he’ll get bored. He likes breaking people and finding unique things when he gets inside their heads, and you’ll have to give him some kind of challenge, or risk losing his interest altogether.
Subaru:
–You’re too good for him. Your perfect behavior, if anything, intimidates him a little, leaving him feeling like you’re something pure that he’s just going to corrupt. He has a long mental battle deciding if he can live with himself for putting you in the danger of just being near him.
Ruki:
-You’re basically the ideal partner for him, with little need to be trained or forced to obey. Livestock should always know their place as you do, and he’s very pleased with how obedient and easy to mold you are. Perhaps he won’t actually need to punish you too often, since you try so hard.
Kou:
-He gets a bit bored of how you do whatever he says, but since you’re willing to accept every pattern he depends on to make the world make sense, he decides that you’re not so bad. It’s still fun to mess with someone as sweet and you, and you’re not a bad partner to be seen in public with at all.
Yuuma:
-He gets used to you being such a doormat pretty quickly, even if it does irritate him a bit that you always do exactly what he says. He’ll complain a little that you’re too easy to push around, but is actually pretty okay with having someone he can completely control and do as he pleases with.
Azusa:
-As long as you’re willing to hurt him, the two of you will get along fabulously. He’ll come to see you as the sweetest person on the planet, and become nearly as devoted to you as you are to him. He’s still pushy, yes, but he’d do almost anything you say in return for how kind you are to him.
Carla:
-He’s visibly happy about having a partner who knows how to obey, and treats you much better than he would someone who resists. He’s still cold and cruel, but definitely shows some mercy to someone who he has no reason to need to punish, especially since you have done nothing but be good.
Shin:
-He definitely makes fun of how soft you are, and uses your obedience to get away with doing horrible things to you. When you continue to love him just as much he starts to get confused, and eventually mellows out a bit thanks to the attention of someone who will always praise him for how he is.
Admin Mawile: (。・∀・)ノ Ooooh, yes! I love platonic relationship stuff with the boys! While the concept of “friend” may be a little hard to figure out for most of them, I can definitely make some headcanons for if it happened!
Shuu:
-Even when seeing you as a friend, he doesn’t do a whole lot. The idea of letting someone close is still very, very hard for him, and he’s much more likely to keep you at a distance. However, when he’s a in a good mood, he’ll be okay with hanging out with you in silence. You have to let him sleep.
Reiji:
-”Friend” to him is more like “unwilling assistant”, and you’ll find yourself stuck helping him with his work more often than not. Even though you’re not a partner, he holds you to high standards, and probably falls into the same kind of manipulative behaviors he would with a partner.
Ayato:
-You will be roped into every bit of mischief he gets up to, whether you like it or not. He sees you as his personal sidekick, and drags you into every ill-advised plan he has. You’ll probably get into as much trouble as he does, and wind up playing mother half as often as you actually manage to be a friend.
Kanato:
-His definition of a friend is closer to a personal servant and sweets maker. You’ll spend a ridiculous amount of time cooking for him, and even more humoring the whims of him and Teddy. He’s entirely selfish, and insists that the two of you do whatever he wants to at all times.
Laito:
-It’s very, very hard for him to make a distinction between a friend and someone he can make advances on, and you’ll probably receive nearly as much lewd behavior as a partner. Outside of that, he’s surprisingly fun to be around, and does a fairly good job of actually treating you like a friend.
Subaru:
-He’s honestly sort of horrible at social interaction, and between yelling at you and breaking things constantly, he even thinks he’s terrible at it. A lot of your time together consists of you coaxing him out of his coffin after his latest episode, and reassuring him that you still want to be around him.
Ruki:
-He’s a picky, strict friend who tries to dictate your behavior most of the time. He’s clearly not used to having anyone who’s really a friend, and you’ll have to put up with a lot of being ordered around to stay friends with him. He’s always helpful, though, and can be surprisingly considerate.
Kou:
-If you don’t get mistaken for his partner by his fans, you’ll be lucky. He’s not a bad friend, though, once you get used to his permanent system of give and take, and as long as you understand how he expects things to go and cooperate, you’ll be able to have a fairly decent friendship with him.
Yuuma:
-Even though there’s no reason why you should have to help, you wind up helping out in his garden way more often than you’d really want. Other than the forced labor, he’s a pretty okay friend, and actually knows how to keep a person as a friend… unlike most of the others.
Azusa:
-He’s still going to insist that you hurt him. It’s really the only way he understand affection from anyone but his family. Even as just a friend, he winds up horribly dependent on you, every bit as clingy and pushy as he would be with a partner. Get used to having a brand new shadow.
Carla:
-Surprisingly, he’s a pretty good friend. He mellows out quite a bit once he trusts you, and while he’s still stern and unapproachable, since you’re not a partner, he doesn’t have the same strain of making a proper partner to continue his race. He’s not exactly nice, but can be at least decent to you.
Shin:
-He’s a totally selfish and demanding friend who really doesn’t know how to not treat people like his personal servants. You’ll get dragged into all kinds of trouble if you hang out with him, and will be subjected to all kinds of mocking and teasing from him. He’s really kind of a terrible friend.
