This for the pet au what if the boys had a kind owner that had a nightmare so she asked to sleep with them. I also really love your blog!

Admin Mawile: ┐(゚~゚) That might not end well…

Shuu:

-He knows he’d never be allowed to push you away, but the panic of having an owner so close is making him almost shake. All he do is hope that you get what you want from him and leave.

Reiji:

-He would never dare disobey an owner, but it’s terrifying to have you so close. The thoughts of the pets used for things are all but clawing at his mind, filling him with the panic that you might be one of them.

Ayato:

-The only thing more terrifying than the proximity with someone who could have him killed is the knowledge that he can’t escape. He’d scramble away if he could, but then you’d have a reason to hurt him.

Kanato:

-While he’s obviously afraid to have a human pressed next to him, you’re so warm it might almost be worth it to be beaten for this later. Maybe… maybe you’ll stay a little bit longer.

Laito:

-If he wasn’t sure you’d turn cruel for it, he’d shove you away and run. He’s certain you’re going to try something, that your kindness will come to and end here if he resists you.

Subaru:

-The closeness and contact gets to him fast, and he’s soon equally torn between pulling away and curling closer to the warmth. It can’t be safe for you to be next to him and so vulnerable.

Ruki:

-He has to obey anything you ask of him, but this is testing the limits of his ability to stay calm. It takes everything he has not to push you away and keep a human, an owner, out of his space.

Kou:

-If you touch him, he’s going to panic, scramble away, and hide somewhere small and dark, sobbing until he’s sure you won’t come back. All he can think about is getting away from you.

Yuuma:

-An owner asking to curl up with him is the last thing he’d expect, and the knowledge of what some owners do with their pets won’t leave his mind. You’re nicer than that… right?

Azusa:

-If he curls up next to you, he gets to stay in your human warmth and maybe get punished later when you turn it against him. He fully expects you to get angry and take it out on him at some point.

Carla:

-An owner’s orders are absolute, and no matter his level of discomfort or fear, you have to be obeyed. He lays perfectly still and does everything possible to pretend to be perfectly willing.

Shin:

-All at once, the memories of his first owner come flooding back. He wants to panic or bite or pull away, but if he makes you angry, the final result is just going to worse for him for disobeying you.

So for pet au, would you say the best way to take care of the pets if you want them to be as stable and healthy as possible is to treat them as pets? It seems they tend to freak out if you treat them well but treat them more as a roommate than a pet, since that’s all they’ve been taught they are. I think it varies (Shu probably is the one who would prefer to be more allowed to do anything he wants), but for mental well being would treating them as actual pets be the best course of action?

Admin Mawile: (‘~`;)

-Yeah, it might be better to stick to treating them like pets. If you’re going to introduce more human-like behavior, you have to do it very slowly. Being a pet is their entire world view, and changing any of that too quickly is just cruel. It’s removing the one thing they’ve been able to rely on for security and self worth, and turning into something totally different all at once. If you want to be as kind as you can, start by being a gentle owner, and move on to treating them like people only once they’re secure in their place with you.

Can you do a Pet Au of how they would all think/ react to kids trying to play with them and pet them and give them attention like regular pets such as dogs?

Admin Mawile: (^・ω・^ ) Awww~

Shuu:

-He doesn’t really mind kids getting close, even if humans make him a bit nervous. The pets are kind of nice, and maybe, if he gets really lucky, someone’s parents will cave and buy him.

Reiji:

-It would be preferable not to have his hair messed and sticky hands put all over him, but for the sake of being a proper, docile pet, he takes the attention and pretends to enjoy it.

Ayato:

-The small humans are the fun ones! They don’t mind petting him, can’t hit very hard, and sometimes their parents give in and look at the pets that are up for adoption. None of them have ever wanted him, though…

Kanato:

-Small humans are sticky and loud and he wouldn’t like them at all, if it wasn’t for the fact that they offer attention. He’ll stay still for petting, so long as there’s a chance he might appeal to a potential owner for it.

Laito:

-Humans being near him, even the small ones, make him very, very nervous. He knows that they’re all going to grow up to be no different than the ones who have done nothing but terrorize him.

Subaru:

-If adult humans aren’t safe near him, than the child ones are really in danger. The attention is wonderful, but he’s just terrified that he’s going to slip up and do something to hurt one of them.

Ruki:

-As nice as it is to have someone not hate him, humans are nothing but trouble for strays. Their parents would gladly turn in him and his brothers, and at the very least be angry that a stray came close to their children.

Kou:

-Even small humans send him into a panic. All he can see is the ones that hurt him; any kind of hand reaching toward him is nothing but a threat. He can’t stand to be near humans of any kind.

Yuuma:

-It’s kind of dangerous to let any human get close to them, but the temptation of attention and praise is hard to resist. Kids have small, warm hands, and they’re not afraid of him just because he’s big.

Azusa:

-He’d love the attention from someone, even a slight idea of what it would like to be someone’s pet, but any human coming too close turns him shivery and afraid. He loves pain, but is terrified of rejection.

Carla:

-There are always children at shows who want to touch him. He’s had enough sticky hands in his hair, or pulling at his clothes to be very accustomed to small humans getting in his space.

Shin:

-He’s pretty used to having kids messing with him, but can’t help but be annoyed by it. They remind him so much of his first owner, and he knows they have just the same capability for cruelty.

How would s&m react to their s/o reaching to hug them, remembering her place and stopping and then asking if she can hug them?

Admin Mawile: ( •⌄• ू )✧ Smart!

Shuu: He’s pleased that you realize enough about your status as prey to ask, and just might use you as a personal pillow as a reward.

Reiji: You’re finally learning your place, it seems. He’s not going to allow physical contact, but he may be willing to share some tea.

Ayato: He’ll hug you, sure, but you’re very likely to be bitten as a “surprise”. That’s what you get for trusting him!

Kanato: No, you may not touch him. Asking has to be some kind of trick, and now he’s accusing you of plotting to hurt him.

Laito: Of course you can have a hug! And since you requested so nicely, he’ll just have to give you even more.

Subaru: Congratulations, you’ve flustered him. The victory won’t last long, though, because as soon as he can speak again he’s going to be angry.

Ruki: Livestock are supposed to ask for permission, and for remembering your place so well, he just might have to reward you.

Kou: Well, if he does that for you than how are you going to pay him back? You’d better think of something, or he’ll have to reason to indulge you.

Yuuma: If you’re going to pester him about it anyway, then why not. You’ll need to pay up with sugar, though.

Azusa: He’s always willing to hug such a warm, nice human but… he might be able to ask for pain in exchange now.

The ancient Romans used to have their more well educated slaves (mostly Greeks) act as private teachers for their children and personal doctors. You think that’d be a possible future for Reiji in the pet au?

Admin Mawile: o(`・∀・´)○

-Oh absolutely!! Some pets are given better treatment than others, and one as obedient and intelligent as Reiji would definitely have a chance at a job like that. Especially if there was a trend in letting pets have jobs like that, it would definitely be a possibility. However, he’s not exactly educated as it is, and someone would first have to take the time to teach him.

Boys’ S/O offering blood to them? How would they react? Would they be gentle rather then mean and abusing? Thank you ♡

Admin Mawile: (,,꒪꒫꒪,,)

Shuu: Unless you’re making trouble for him, he rarely bothers to hurt you anyway. This just makes things easier for both of you.

Reiji: Although he makes fun of you for being needy, he very much appreciates the obedience and good behavior.

Ayato: If you don’t fight a little, it’s no fun. He’s happy to take a few offers of blood, but prefers you to be a little more entertaining.

Kanato: Are you trying to trick him? This is how you’re supposed to behave, but he assumes you’re trying to get something past him.

Laito: It’s fun to have a willing piece of prey for a bit, but you’d better make sure to stay nice and amusing for him~

Subaru: Willing prey is a rather unusual concept, and it’s strangely nice to feed from someone who obviously wants it.

Ruki: He fully expects you to offer your blood at any time he requests it; you would be punished if you didn’t.

Kou: He appreciates the easy meal, but will either pay you back for offering or turn it against you in some unpleasant way.

Yuuma: Yeah, things will hurt a lot less for you if you make things easy for him. He’s still rough, but not exactly intentionally.

Azusa: Obviously, he’s going to take the offer as admitting that you like pain. You’re going to get a lot more than bites in the near future.

Carla: You should be willing to comply with his every order. Offering blood is just a natural step in you learning your place.

Shin: It’s not any fun to have things be too easy, but a couple incidents of willing food are a welcome change.

Reaction-The Sakamaki brother‘s s/o acting cold towards them because they’re angry(or any reasons)

Admin Mawile: ( ´△`)

Shuu:

-As long as he can still feed from you without trouble, he won’t care. You can be as angry and cold as you like, just don’t make work for him. He’ll ignore your upset until it directly gets in his way.

Reiji:

-That kind of behavior is immature and inappropriate. You will adjust that attitude, or face his idea of how to fix it. No partner of his will be allowed to treat him with such disrespect and rudeness.

Ayato:

-If you’re going to be all cold, than he’ll just have to torture you until he gets a reaction! Between frequent, painful bites and actual torture devices, you’ll perk up quickly or suffer for it.

Kanato:

-You’re not allowed to be rude to him, and Teddy is very offended by your behavior. He’s going to have to punish you now, because you just had to try to make him angry with you.

Laito:

-He knows lots of ways to make unhappy prey smile again… and you’re going to be experiencing all of them. Really, he doesn’t care if you’re angry or not, and is just jumping on the chance to torment you.

Subaru:

-He ignores it for as long as he can, but eventually gets so frustrated with the cold behavior that he snaps and tries to scare you into stopping. If that doesn’t work, he just gets even more angry with you.

Pet AU, their reactions to bath time?

Admin Mawile: (゚∀゚ )

Shuu: He’ll put up with almost anything to avoid punishment. If staying still and getting a bath is what it takes, he might even be able to nap during it.

Reiji: Not only is he eager to obey a direct command from you, actually being clean is so much better than the filth some pets are left in.

Ayato: He doesn’t really like baths, but it’s still better than risking making you angry. At least you bother to keep the water warm.

Kanato: Being clean and taken care of is a privilege only owned pets get. He’ll gladly accept any care you offer just because of that.

Laito: He hates having to spend time so close to a human, but the temptation of being clean wins out over his worry.

Subaru: Back when he was deemed unsafe to sell, baths meant being sprayed down with a hose. This is much nicer than that.

Ruki: As much as he dislikes making himself so vulnerable, it’s a massive relief to be able to stay clean instead of living in filth.

Kou: If he can calm down long enough to let you close, warm water and clean scars will do him a world of good, about as close to relaxed as he gets.

Yuuma: He’s not particularly fond of baths, but compared to the nasty places he’s lived before, it’s worth having to put up with being damp.

Azusa: Any attention from you is something to be grateful for. You could scald him or use ice water and he’d still be happy about it.

Carla: He’s rather fastidious about staying clean, especially after flare ups of his illness. Grooming of any kind is welcome.

Shin: Baths may be one of his greatest joys. It’s hard to keep him out of them once you’ve offered, especially if you have warm water.

some sad headcanons about reiji, kou, and laito for the pet!au?

Admin Mawile: (ц`ω´ц*) I get too much joy out of this type of angst~

Reiji:

-His entire self worth centers around earning an owner. If he’s not good enough to be adopted, than he’s better off dead. No one will ever want him if he can’t please them, and he’s devoted his entire being to becoming the most obedient, well-behaved pet imaginable.

-Being worthless is his ultimate fear, and anything that even hints at it upsets him horribly. If one of his more troubled brothers got adopted before him, or if an owner ever returned him or threw him away, he would shut down, unable to handle the idea that he has no value.

Kou:

-He was rented out to torture at the shelter, and bears numerous scars from that time. Despite being small and weak, he was defanged for no reason other than the patrons entertainment, and has permanent marks from everything from knife wounds to burns, severe enough to never fully heal.

-Because of how useless he is to his brothers, he has strongly considered just ending his own life and getting out of their way. All he can do is stayed curled up and fighting off nightmares, unable to even function from the trauma haunting him, so they’d have to be better off without him.

Laito:

-Although he’d sooner die than mention it to anyone, he was used as a certain type of pet for a while. While he was still cute enough to be profitable, his breeder sought out some extra money from the practice, which went on for a couple years until age took away his appeal.

-He is entirely unable to trust humans, and believes them all to be only out for their own benefit. Even an owner would only keep him until he lost his worth, and none of them would ever care about hum beyond their own happiness. As soon as he loses his worth, they’d turn on him.
