I liked how everyone was named in Innocents like Nicolas meaning victory and also I believe the saint of children. The irony of Christian and Christainity, Remy meaning oarsman which is sorta ironic in the end, and Pierre the “rock/stone” going with his stubbornness. Idk maybe I’m thinking too much into the names lol! Anyway have a frabjous day!

And yes!! The names are very cool! However, Etienne and Nicolas were the real names of the children who led the two historical Children’s Crusades. As for the rest of them, I don’t know how much Furuya actually knew about Western names, but he did make a lot of good choices!
