Prompt: Bleeding Out

Character(s): Kou

Warnings: Child abuse, blood, mild gore, general DL creepiness

From the time the adults at the orphanage had pulled him away from the group, insisted that Ruki and the others has to stay behind, Kou knew deep in him that something was very, very wrong.

They led him through parts of the building that Kou had never been in, down dark stairs and through a corridor that smelled wet and unpleasant. Like everything else in the orphanage, these places were dirty and in poor repair, dark and looking like no one had actually lived in them in a while.

When they reached the end of the corridor, one of the adults went ahead, through a heavy, wooden door and into the dark.

The other one stayed beside him, making a face like she was sick. Kou looked up at her, confused, but held himself back from asking any questions. The adults never liked it when the kids had too many questions.

“Now,” the adult said, forcing a smile, “you’re going to be good for us today, alright? The orphanage needs money, and we’re relying on you to behave. You don’t want the place you live to have to close, do you?” She looked at Kou with an expression of barely concealed unhappiness, contrasting the sickly sweet tone of her voice.

Kou thought to himself that, if it wasn’t for Ruki and the others, he might not care too much if this place had to close.

He didn’t say a thing, though, just nodded in agreement. The adult then grabbed him by the arm, grip tight, and hauled him through the door.

On the other side, there was a nicely furnished room, dark, but finer than anything Kou had seen before. There were a lot of adults seated around the room, chatting amongst themselves in low, pleased tones. Their clothes were nice, like the nobles Ruki had told Kou about.

When they saw Kou, the adults smiled, slowly turning towards him one after another as the conversation halted. Close to ten pairs of eyes were soon all on him and the adult holding his arm, and Kou squirmed.

He didn’t like this. Adults looking at him usually meant someone was mad at him, and Kou didn’t even know what he’d done wrong this time.

“Welcome, our little star,” one of the men smiled instead, standing up and brushing his coat out behind him. He walked over, kneeled in front of Kou, and took one of his little hands in his own.

“Ah, yes,” he murmured, looking Kou in the eye and brushing a bit of hair out of his face. “You’re a cute one, aren’t you? The orphanage really knew what kind of kid we wanted to see…” he looked up at the adult, smiling, “Thank you, ma’am. This is exactly what we paid for.”

The woman smiled, even though she looked more sad than happy, and excused herself with one last comment for Kou to be good.

And Kou was left alone with the room full of adults.

The adult who had kneeled in front of Kou stood up and led him towards the center of the room. There were close to ten adults, all smiling, and when one woman passed him a little cake, Kou was too overwhelmed to do anything but take a bite. Sweet burst over his tongue, and he made a soft noise, forcing the rest of the food into his mouth in a rush.

Laughing, the adults passed him something else, which Kou ate without thinking. So many people had never looked at him at once before, and he was nervous down to the pit of his stomach, tense.

Eventually, Kou had eaten enough that his stomach felt pleasantly full. The adults around him were smiling and laughing, each having handed him something nice, and Kou himself was in the lap of one of the women. He’d almost forgotten the bad feeling he’d had when he first arrived.

“Alright, that should be enough for preparation,” the first man said suddenly, and all at once, Kou was shoved off the woman’s lap.

He hit the floor hard, and had just long enough to look up and see the adult walking towards him with a knife before the first of the pain hit.

What happened next, Kou didn’t remember very clearly.

Kou was on the floor, hurting everywhere like nothing had ever hurt before. The adults had left the room, still laughing, leaving Kou to lay and suffer after they had had their fun with him for long enough.

He remembers laughter, pain like nothing else, metal slicing into his skin, and kicks and hits and shoves pushing him back and forth.

At some point, he’d already thrown up everything they’d given him, but Kou barely manages to roll over and heave again, spitting up bile and sour nothingness. Just moving makes every part of him ache.

There’s wet surrounding him, hot and soaking through what’s left of his clothes. It’s sticky when he tries to move, clinging to his skin.

Kou looks down and sees red covering every part of him he can see. There’s flesh hanging open in places, cuts still weeping blood, and–, and he’s starting to feel lightheaded, room spinning in place as he lays.

There’s a weightless, dizzy feeling settling down over him, and blood spreading under him. He hurts everywhere, pain a living thing eating him from the inside out. The adults are long gone, but Kou is still afraid, still unable to do anything but cry and hope that they don’t come back.

Tears streak down Kou’s bloody, bruised face, cutting hot, stinging trails into every open wound. Little sobs wrack him, even though every tiny movement makes everything hurt all over again.

He feels a bit like he might be dying, shaking from the pain.

Kou thinks of Ruki, Yuuma, and Azusa. He thinks that he might not ever see them again. He wonders what they’ll think of him being gone.

Closing his eyes, Kou barely feels himself being picked up.

For Human Au. The boys have fallen in love with the vampire reader, but the latter is indifferent towards them. She only approaches them when she’s really hungry(even feeding from them is rare). What would the boys do to get the reader to notice them and their feelings?

Admin Mawile: (* ゚∀゚)ノシ

Shuu:

-Trying to get you to love him is way too much work. Instead, he lazes around in obvious places, intentionally making himself vulnerable in the hopes that he’ll be seen as adequate prey. It does’t seem likely that you’ll ever love him, but at least this way, he can get your attention all on him.

Reiji:

-He’s very, very used to fighting to be noticed, and in this situation too, he goes about it by striving to be so perfect that you could never be satisfied with anyone else. He shows off his intelligence and skills at any chance, as well as doing everything possible to prove that he’s a suitable partner for you.

Ayato:

-Feeling ignored does not sit well with his ego, and he winds up bragging and showing off around you constantly, trying to somehow impress you into thinking he’s the best. It’s actually a sort of pathetic attempt, and it comes off as much more desperate and needy than capable or impressive.

Kanato:

-Aside from crying and whining any time he catches you paying attention to anyone else, his main strategy is to guilt you into staying with him. By making himself pathetic, he thinks he can convince you that his misery would be your fault if you leave him alone, playing on what little sympathy you may have.

Laito:

-Not surprisingly, his way of getting your attention is rather lewd. He makes increasingly suggestive comments around you, practically offering himself up to be ravished, and taunting you into doing something to him. He’s good at pressing other people’s buttons, and his method may actually work.

Subaru:

-It’s hard for him to even admit that he has feelings for you, much less do something to get your attention. Maybe he lets his guard down around you just a little bit. Maybe he happens to spend more time around you than anyone else. It’s still easier than acknowledging that he loves you.

Ruki:

-His pride won’t let him do much to try to impress you, but he still winds up unintentionally showing off a bit when you’re around. He knows that he’s a capable person, and being ignored irritates him in all the worst ways. Eventually, it gets to the point where he actually tries to earn your attention.

Kou:

-He’s more than accustomed to showing off, and uses every bit of idol charm he has to try to win you over. From being almost sickeningly cutesy to fawning over your every move, he goes well out of his way to prove that he’s good prey for you, and someone that you should definitely give a chance.

Yuuma:

-The main way he tries to get close to someone is through food. It’s not easy for him to admit his feelings, but giving you a big basket of home grown produce every chance he gets is as obvious as a love confession if you know him very well. Especially considering how flustered he gets around you.

Azusa:

-Forget trying to get you notice him. He’s most likely to outright ask to be bitten. He can be horribly, horribly pushy, and if you say no, he’ll just try to talk you into hurting him. Even your anger is attention, so he won’t leave you alone no matter how upset you get with his persistence.

Carla:

-It makes absolutely no sense to him why you wouldn’t want him in the first place, but his ego won’t stand for being ignored. Even his attempts at winning your attention are clumsy and prideful, and typically include things like brutally mocking anyone else who tries to get close to you.

Shin:

-He becomes such a show off that it’s almost worrying, including throwing himself into potentially dangerous situations just to prove to you that he’s tough. He’ll pick fights with anyone who inconveniences you, and basically do everything possible to show you how cool he can be.

tsukinami and mukami boys with a very very loving mother type yet a doome s/o?

Admin Mawile: (ゝω・)ノ

Ruki:

-As long as you remain in your place and don’t try to challenge him, he can appreciate a sweet, doting personality in a partner. If you go slowly enough and don’t push the idea right away, you may even be able to gain some measure of dominance in the relationship.

Kou:

-He actually rather enjoys a loving, doting partner, and soaks up the attention and kindness like he’s starved for it. It still takes quite a bit of effort to get past his issues and preconceptions, but once you become someone important to him, it’s not impossible to get him to open up to new ideas.

Yuuma:

-He’s likely to conflict with your more dominant side, but isn’t entirely adverse to having a partner who wants to take charge once in a while. If you’re truly someone he loves, he can be pretty open to new things, if only to prove that he’s not afraid of trying something that you’re interested in.

Azusa:

-The kind of attention you give him amounts to what is most likely the healthiest relationship he’s had in his life. A dominant personality goes over wonderfully with him, aside from his pushy tendencies, and he’s more than delighted to go along with whatever (hopefully painful) things you want.

Carla:

-There’s bound to be a huge clash when it comes to dominance, but having such a sweet, loving personality goes a long ways. Carla has a horribly hard time letting go of even a tiny bit of his control, and it’s not simple at all to ease him into not being the one who’s in charge of everything.

Shin:

-He can’t stand the idea of being anything less than dominant, and even though he really does like how sweet and motherly you are, there’s no way he could ever agree to let you have control. He may be a little more willing to open up than he acts, but his pride is a powerful, deep-rooted thing.

Human AU: You know how the boys in canon have a lot of fans @ their school? How would they react to the reader receiving gifts and being treated like some sort of celebrity? Would they be jealous of all the attention, particularly all the students who have crushes on them? What about the students the Reader likes to prey on? (this is after they’ve developed affections for the Reader)

Admin Mawile: (。・∀・)ノ

Shuu:

-He mostly thinks that all the attention is troublesome, especially considering that he’s had his own share of fans, thanks to his good looks. Being hated because he’s close to you is a real pain, and he can’t say that he’s jealous of the attention you receive for even a second.

Reiji:

-He’s never been too popular in school, and between that and the other students you prey on, he’s caught in a whole new web of jealousy. Not only are you getting more attention than he could have ever dreamed of, you’re actively choosing pathetic nobodies over him for your meals.

Ayato:

-Popularity is a very new thing for him to experience, and he’s horribly jealous that it’s so easy for you to be loved and looked up to. Even worse, you have all the prey you could ever need, and he’s left feeling like second choice. Eventually, he starts acting out to try to get your attention back.

Kanato:

-He absolutely can’t stand that you get so much attention from other students, and probably resorts to something like leaving threatening messages in the desks of anyone that you pay attention to over him. Once he has feelings for you, he’d do anything to be the only one you look at.

Laito:

-His first response is suggestions of lewd things involving you and your fans, and if that doesn’t get him in trouble, he only gets worse. He seems delighted that you have so many people interested in you, and gets weirdly flustered when he has to watch you preying on someone else in favor of him.

Subaru:

-Reclusive by nature, all the attention you get makes him very, very nervous. He can’t stand being a part of it… which makes getting him caught up in the crowds a very effective punishment. Knowing that you prey on others leaves a weirdly bitter feeling behind, one that he can’t quite explain.

Ruki:

-He’s used to a little bit of popularity, but nothing like how you’re treated. It’s frustrating to have to deal with you spending so much time with other people, especially as he starts to develop feelings for you, and the obvious fact that you have others to bite is one that is hard to accept.

Kou:

-As an idol, he’s familiar with being loved, but at school, you leave the attention he gets in the dust. He can barely believe that people would choose you over him, and seeing you preying on others just makes the jealousy worse. He can barely stand that you get so much attention so easily.

Yuuma:

-The sheer amount of fans you have is a little weird, and it mostly just reminds him of Kou. He prefers to stay out of all the fuss, and only gets involved when you force him. Your other food sources do make him a little jealous, and eventually, he blurts out something about it being easier to stick to him.

Azusa:

-He’s spent a long time being the exact opposite of popular, and all the attention you get just confuses him. What he does know is that he does not like you hurting other people. He wants to be the one that you give so much love to, not kids from school who don’t want it like he does.

Carla:

-He doesn’t mind much that you’re so popular, but when you start choosing nobodies over him for food, he starts to get annoyed. None of them come close to him in status or worth, and it irritates him that you would ever want random students instead of someone of his level.

Shin:

-He’s immediately, viciously jealous of how popular you are, and spends an embarrassing amount of time trying to prove that he’s just as good. Other people getting bitten by you just makes this tendency worse as he struggles to show you that he’s better than any of them, and clearly your best choice.

What if the boys realized they’re jealous when the vampire reader bites their brothers?

Admin Mawile: (o゜◇゜)ノ

Shuu:

-Even when he becomes aware that he’s jealous, he doesn’t do too much about it. It’s too much trouble to fight for your attention, and only if he can scare off his brothers without too much effort does he act.

Reiji:

-Jealousy is not something unfamiliar to him, but the feeling is no more welcome in this situation than any other. He works harder than anyone else, does more to be perfect, so why are you still choosing someone else?

Ayato:

-Feeling like less than the best makes him reckless and angry, and he’s all too likely to do something to earn your ire, if only so he can feel like you’re paying attention to him. He doesn’t take the jealousy well at all.

Kanato:

-With him, jealousy is very, very likely to end in some kind of screaming fit. He hates that he’s envious of his brothers and hates even more that it’s because of you, and yet, he can’t stop needing your attention more than anything.

Laito:

-Of all the things to be jealous of, he wouldn’t think it would have been that… It’s not hard for him to pretend to be interested in your bite, but as the feelings grow genuine, it gets harder and harder for him to keep up the act.

Subaru:

-Just thinking about what he’s jealous of makes his whole face go painfully red, and he can barely believe that he’d feel something so shameful in the first place. You have to have done something to him to have caused this!

Ruki:

-His ego makes it very, very hard for him to admit that he’s longing for your kind of pain, but when he eventually does, the jealousy is a powerful thing that may even drive him to trying to get closer to you for the sake of it.

Kou:

-Wishing for pain is an entirely new feeling, and he spends a long time lashing out because he can’t process it. Eventually, he gets needy and pushy, practically goading you into biting him just so he doesn’t have to think about it.

Yuuma:

-It’s pretty sick that that’s what he’s jealous of, and yet, seeing you bite one of the others only makes him wish it was him in their place. It’s stupid and frustrating, but he can’t help but wish that you’d hurt only him.

Azusa:

-He’s not at all used to envy, and for a long time confuses the jealousy for merely wanting to be hurt. When he finally figures it out, he’s more than a little confused, but his longing to be hurt by you doesn’t change a bit.

Carla:

-Longing to be bitten is the exact opposite of how he should behave, and yet, he still wants it. He resists the jealousy for as long as he possibly can, unwilling to do anything to admit to the positively humiliating feelings of want.

Shin:

-He can barely take admitting that he wants to be bitten by you, but being jealous of his brother is not a new feeling in the slightest. In the end, his desire to surpass Carla wins out, and he winds up fighting for your attention.

Here’s a thought, How would the Canon Diaboys feel about the Human!AU Diaboys and vice versa?

Admin Mawile: (,, ・∀・)ノ゛

Shuu:

-Canon!Shuu couldn’t care less about his human counterpart. They don’t seem that different, and while he’s definitely not going to go out of his way to befriend this version of himself, it only bothers him a little bit that he could possibly be so pathetic, even under completely different circumstances.

-Human!Shuu is similar. He’s never been the sort to long for power, and if anything, it seems like his vampire version only has more troublesome things to deal with. At least, since this is technically him, this person is willing to let him sleep as much as he wants without being a bother.

Reiji:

-Canon!Reiji sees his human self as nothing short of pathetic. It feels like this version of himself has every one of his worst, most disgustingly weak qualities brought to the surface, and he can barely stand being near it all. He hates seeing himself, even as a human, being so pitiful and anxious.

-Human!Reiji, meanwhile, is caught between vicious jealousy that he could ever be so powerful and capable, and the logical realization that that sort of life would only be more painful. He’s horribly envious of his vampire version’s knowledge and influence, but well aware of the suffering that comes with it.

Ayato:

-It gets right under Canon!Ayato’s skin that he could ever be so helpless, and it bugs him horribly to even look at a version of himself that is so obviously inferior. Ayato is used to being the one in control, and even the thought of being on the other side all over again doesn’t sit well with him.

-Human!Ayato is partially amazed that he could ever be as strong as his vampire self, but also somewhere between furious and dismayed that he’s the weaker one, the one who still has to live with being pushed around. At least it’s still technically him, so that should count for something…

Kanato:

-Seeing himself so much like how he was when he was younger does not sit well with Canon!Kanato. He’s viciously jealous by nature, and has a fit over the idea that there could be two of him, much less the idea that this version could have suffered less. (Don’t even start on there being two of Teddy.)

-Human!Kanato cries as soon as he has to face another version of himself, and when the same tricks that get most people to pity him fail, he goes straight into anger. He’s not stupid enough to pick a fight with his vampire self, but he will make it very clear that he doesn’t like having him around.

Laito:

-Not surprisingly, Canon!Laito sees a lot of potential in another version of himself. Upon finding out that his human self is weaker, more reserved, and much more easily frightened, he has some particularly off putting comments about what it would be like to be on the “other side” for once.

-While he’s openly nervous about a vampire version of himself, Human!Laito makes sure not to let anything too pathetic slip. He doesn’t trust a vampire for a second, even if it is easy to fall into lewd banter over who’s has the more pleasurable side of the power struggle with their partners.

Subaru:

-Somehow, Canon!Subaru’s human self is even more helpless than he feels already, and that feeling of powerlessness drives him straight to anger. It’s hard to process that he could ever be so weak, and he’s horribly frustrated by having to see a version of himself that is so utterly powerless.

-On one hand, Human!Subaru is painfully jealous of his vampire self’s strength. On the other hand, he doesn’t think he could stand being more of a monster than he already is. Still, he can’t help but catch himself envying what it would be like to be able to destroy his problems so easily.

Ruki:

-Canon!Ruki can tell that, even as a human, he’s still fundamentally the same person. He’s actually fairly open to this other self, even if the idea of what could have happened if he never became a vampire makes him feel vaguely sick, and the powerlessness of this human him is beyond pathetic to watch.

-Human!Ruki has a similar attitude. He’s a little afraid of the idea of a vampire version of himself, but understands that, since they’re basically the same person, there shouldn’t be too much for them to disagree over. The only thing that bothers him is the thought of having so much power to protect his family.

Kou:

-It’s nothing short of revolting for Canon!Kou to have to see himself as weak and pathetic all over again. He left his human self in the past a long time ago, and he never, never wants any of it back again. Even looking at this version of himself disgusts him, fills him with the terror of how things could have been.

-For Human!Kou, he’s stuck between the idea that this vampire version of himself could understand some of what he’s gone through, and the very real knowledge that he’d hate anyone who knew what he was like before. In the end, he can’t tolerate being around someone who knows his weaknesses.

Yuuma:

-While it’s a little annoying that any version of him could have stayed so weak, Canon!Yuuma isn’t that bothered by his human self. He was human at one point, after all, and it’s not that weird to see that again, even if this him seems to have had a lot less of a tough childhood that he did.

-Human!Yuuma’s feelings are much the same. Since it’s technically the same person, he doesn’t have any real reason to be afraid of himself, and if anything, is slightly in awe of his vampire self’s power. In all honestly, the two of them might share enough views to get along pretty well.

Azusa:

-Canon!Azusa has absolutely no problem with a human version of himself. He’s very open to this new version of himself, and probably winds up swapping injuries with the only person who sees things exactly the way he does. It’s dangerous, but they wind up understanding each other well.

-While much more fragile than the vampire, Human!Azusa has a lot of the same desires and ways of thinking, and easily winds up on the same page as his vampire self. It’s probably unwise to leave them alone, as that will almost certainly end in very friendly bloodshed and new wounds.

Carla:

-Canon!Carla is thoroughly disgusted by the idea that any version of him could be human. It goes against everything he stands for to see himself as anything less than perfect, and he does not take well to seeing what’s technically “him” so helpless. He despises his human self from the very beginning.

-Human!Carla is more disgusted by his vampire self’s attitude than anything. Even though they’re the same person, it irritates him to have to deal with someone who treats him like he’s so far beneath them, and it’s hard for him to tolerate the behavior even from a version of himself.

Shin:

-It’s somewhere between funny and horrifying that he could ever be so pathetic, and, in an effort to cover up how uncomfortable he is with seeing himself so weak, Canon!Shin mocks his human self relentlessly. It’s easier to do that than face that he could ever be something so pathetic.

-Honestly, Human!Shin is probably going to pick a fight with his vampire self. He can’t stand being made fun of, even as a human, and most likely gets himself in trouble while trying to get his vampire self to shut up. He’s viciously annoyed by the awful attitude that this other him seems to have.

You know how in canon, the Sakamaki going through the awakening stage where they have this uncontrollable thirst for Yui’s blood? How about the human boys’ reaction? (they’ve fell in love with the vampire and reader treat them more kindly, but they’re not a couple yet) Would they offer themselves immediately without thinking about the consequences or would they hesitate a little?

Admin Mawile: ヾ(・ω・`。)

Shuu:

-He doesn’t particularly like being bitten all the time, but considering that it’s you… he can’t help but accept it. At least he has more of an excuse to lay around and sleep when you’ve been drinking more.

Reiji:

-On a matter of pure loyalty (or so he would like to think), he decides to remain with you. Of course, he would never admit to himself that he’s starting to sort of like being yours, even the parts where he’s hurt.

Ayato:

-He’s gotten used to being with you and all, so even though he doesn’t like being bitten all the time, he kinda has to stay with you. It’s much easier to think that way, instead of considering how he’s starting to like the pain.

Kanato:

-You’re the first person to pay so much attention to him, to treat him like he’s something special, and honestly, he’d die before he’d let that go. Even if it means being hurt, your affection is so, so worth it.

Laito:

-Considering that you’re a ridiculously powerful vampire, he doesn’t have much choice but to stay yours. Don’t worry, though! He’s starting to like being your little pet, so you can be content knowing that he’ll stick around.

Subaru:

-Well, even though he still doesn’t like being manhandled all the time… you’re pretty important to him. He’s tough enough to take the blood draining and all, so maybe it’s worth it to continue being yours and yours alone.

Ruki:

-He definitely thinks things over quite a bit, but in the end, he can’t quite bear to leave you. You’ve become important to him somewhere along the line, and you probably wouldn’t let him get away even if he tried.

Kou:

-He doesn’t really like the biting, but it makes you happy, and you’ll have to pay him back for that someday, right? You’ve started to be pretty nice to him lately, and now, it just makes sense for him to return the favor.

Yuuma:

-He’s probably one of the few people tough enough to keep up with how hungry you’ve been lately, and, well, he has gotten to be pretty fond of you. He’s not gonna admit to that last part, though.

Azusa:

-At this point, he’d do literally anything for you. You’ve been nice to him and hurt him so wonderfully, there’s no way he’d ever say no to more pain. He’s practically convinced that you love him by now, from how you act.

Carla:

-As much as his pride is protesting it, he eventually decides to accept you this way too. You’ve become someone frustratingly important to him, and as long as he doesn’t have to explain why, he can let things continue as they are.

Shin:

-He would sooner die than admit it, but… it’s not that bad to get bitten all the time. You must need him around anyway, so he has to stay for your sake. That’s the only way he can bear to think about it, anyway.

How would the boys react to Vampire!reader being amazed at something they’re good at (like Shu playing the violin, Yuma with his gardening skills, etc), getting excited with star struck eyes and asked them to teach her how to do it?

Admin Mawile: ヾ(°∇°*)

Shuu:

-Hes used to his mother telling him that he’s exceptional, but hearing it from you is entirely different. It seems kind of strange that a vampire would be interested, but this might mean spending less time bitten…

Reiji:

-No one has ever called anything he did exceptional before, and he spends a moment unsure of exactly how to react. Eventually, he winds up ridiculously proud of himself, practically glowing from the praise.

Ayato:

-The attention goes straight to his ego, and he’s showing off and trying to impress you more within minutes. He absolutely thrives off of being praised and encouraged, and you’re playing right into that.

Kanato:

-He’s not used to being paid attention to at all, and the attention is positively addictive. He’ll get to a point where he’ll do anything to be praised by you more, so long as you’ll look at him like he did something good.

Laito:

-He’ll play your amazement off with silly words, like usual, but inside, he’s not quite sure how to feel. It’s not like many people have been too interested in him in the past, much less acted so impressed.

Subaru:

-The praise absolutely floors him, and he’s left stuttering and trying to properly respond to someone being so pleased with him. No one has ever cared much about what he does before, and he does not know what to do.

Ruki:

-He dismisses your interest with arrogance, acting like it’s no big deal that you’d be impressed, but inside, he’s surprisingly shaken. It’s been quite a while since anyone but his brothers praised him, after all.

Kou:

-It’s only natural that people would be impressed with an idol! However, there’s something different about you being so pleased with him, and he’s forced to cover up how unsure he feels in the face of your attention.

Yuuma:

-He tries to pass what he’s doing off as no big deal, but it’s pretty obvious that he’s more affected than he lets on. It’s not too often that people have gone out of their way to appreciate what he does, and it’s quite the new feeling.

Azusa:

-He loves any kind of attention, and soaks up whatever praise you’re willing to give him, delighted that you’re even talking to him. He loves pleasing you, and will do almost anything to have your happiness continue.

Carla:

-On a matter of pride, he has to dismiss the attention as no big deal, but underneath his arrogant attitude, he’s more affected than he’d like to admit. He likes being told that he’s doing good, even from someone like you.

Shin:

-He responds arrogantly, of course, but the praise is actually the exact kind of thing that he’d do anything to hear more of. He’ll unconsciously try to keep pleasing you, even as he’s not aware of what he’s doing.
