First Sub Au Fic Vote

Admin Mawile: Alright! Since I posted the chapter I’ve been working on, it’s time to take a vote for what the next three will be! The general idea of what we’re doing is described in this post.

To summarize, one Ko-Fi counts as one vote. Leave in the note which character (or characters, for multiple votes) you want. You can vote as many times and for as many characters as you want. The top three choices will have one chapter of their routes written. 

The voting will go on until two days from the time of this post (10:00 PM for me), or until it hits a minimum of 10 votes~ This is a new thing for me, so I may have technical difficulties, but here’s hoping all goes well!

Sub Au Fic Update

Admin Mawile: (“⌒∇⌒”) In short, I think I’ve figured out something to try! 

So, when I started this fic, I had a vote to decide whose route to start with. I think that something similar would make sense for the rest of the fic. 

What I had in mind was using my Ko-Fi page (link here) to have a vote. Each Ko-Fi donation would count towards a vote for a chapter for a character of your choice, and at the end of the voting, the top three characters would get a chapter added to their routes! You’d be able to send multiple votes, including votes for multiple characters, if you wanted to, and the voting would go until either a set time had passed or until I hit a minimum amount of votes. I would then write the three winning chapters, then the voting would go again. 

And so on, until the fic is finished. 

This way, everyone would still be able to read the chapters as I publish them, and y’all would have full choice in whose routes are finished first. I also wouldn’t severely undercharge myself just because I got nervous about my work being good enough. 

Since this is still just a working idea for now, I would appreciate feedback! I really want to come up with something that will be doable for everyone!!

  • Reblog my story link, so that people who aren’t following me will see it too. Maybe add a comment or tags about how much you enjoyed it.
  • Leave a short comment on AO3.

Biggish things you can do that will make an author very happy:

  • Make your own post reccing my story, and telling people what you enjoyed about it.
  • Leave a detailed comment on AO3, telling me what you liked about my story, what moved you, what made you laugh, what your favourite part was, and asking any questions you happen to have about it.

Huge, amazing, omg things you can do to make an author love you forever:

  • Draw art based on my story.
  • Ask to borrow one of my OCs for a story of your own.
  • Ask to translate one of my stories into your own language.

Admin Mawile: … I caved.

I just started writing a real DL fic, despite already having too many WIPs.

Send help 

Admin Mawile: Welp, I’m half way through writing the introduction, and it’s pretty much set that I’m going to do this thing! (ノ*゜▽゜*) The fic is going to be for Sub Au, and I’m planning to have it be pretty much a re-write of canon DL to fit the Au! I feel like a route based story would work best, because that would allow each of the boys to have their own story, like in the games. 

Thus, here’s a lil survey to help me figure out what part to write next.  I’d appreciate any response! The comment boxes are mostly there for encouragement, by the way. I write faster when I know people want to see what I’m working on… (๑ゝω╹๑)

Admin Mawile: *boops this* There’s a four way tie at the moment for whose route to work on first… More response would be very helpful.
