Admin Mawile: Σ(・口・) All of these are assuming that the boys were at least a little bit close to said lover. Otherwise the response would be “meh, there goes another one”
Shuu:
-He both blames himself and is convinced that this was inevitable. No matter what you would have died from, he would assume that if you hadn’t been close to him, it never would have happened. He doesn’t show much distress, but shuts down even more from losing another loved one.
Reiji:
-If you were very important to him, you join his resurrection research as the second target. Otherwise, he’ll stuff down any feeling relating to the matter and carry on as usual. There’s no need to be upset by the death of one human, even if this one was special.
Ayato:
-At first, he dismisses his reactions as disappointment at losing a toy. But when the dark, awful feeling doesn’t go away, it starts to get to him. You can’t have been that important, you can’t really be making him this upset, and to prove it, he quickly finds someone else to replace you.
Kanato:
-It’s sad that he can’t hear your pretty voice anymore, but now you can finally become a real doll. He lovingly restores your broken body and puts in an central display place so that you can be with him forever. If you really meant a lot to him, he’d keep some perfectly preserved piece close, like a bone pin.
Laito:
-On the outside, he laughs it all off and more or less forgets you ever existed. He likely has a new lover within the week, and no one sees him so much as frown over your death. If he ever was truly upset about it, he’ll be the only one to know about those feelings.
Subaru:
-He immediately blames himself for your untimely demise, and the matter becomes yet one more reason for him to hate himself. He had to have failed you somehow, has to be somehow responsible for this. You’re just one more thing that he’s corrupted, one more reason that he should be the one dead.
Ruki:
-Outwardly, he doesn’t have much of a reaction. Whether he’s sad about losing you or not, he has more important things to do than mourn. You will be missed, but death is just what happens to fragile, short lived humans, and yours just happened to come early.
Kou:
-To begin with, he didn’t feel much but a vague sense of disappointment at your death. The part that upset him the most was that he’d lost his favorite person to toy with. There’s a strange dark feeling hovering around in his chest, though, something painful that he doesn’t want to dwell on for long.
Yuuma:
-He’s upset, visibly so, and rages for weeks over the loss. You’re now one more thing on his list of losses, one more thing that’s been taken away from him, and he hates it. Even worse, your death has started bringing up memories, old, foggy ones that are as disturbing as they are familiar.
Azusa:
-He’s by far the most saddened, and very likely gives himself a new, deep scar to remember you by. The more important you were to him, the longer he spends in misery, wondering what he could have done to keep you with him, or what it was that made you leave.
Carla:
-He takes the death with grace, not allowing himself to feel too much or make a scene of it. You were certain to die eventually, and even if the circumstances had to be unfortunate, in his mind, it doesn’t justify allowing himself to mourn. You were just a human, after all.
Shin:
-Unless you were extremely important to him, he almost treats it as a joke. Humans are so fragile so powerless, just one little fall was all it took to kill you. It’s almost funny that the lover of an all-powerful first blood would die from something so pathetic.
